Free Sports Performance Programming is now live at Upper Macungie Twp Community Lifestyle Center! Programming officially begins Monday, August 24!

To register for our free programming, scan the QR code attached or click the link to our profile bio. The facility utilizes a software called Dash. When signing up, you will be required to create a free profile.

Attention Parents, Coaches, & Athletes!

Are you interested in learning more about the Sports Performance offerings available at the new Upper Macungie Community Lifestyle Center?

Sports Performance Manager Matt Mowad will be hosting informational open house sessions from Tuesday, August 18 through Thursday, August 20. Every 30 minutes from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Matt will lead tours and walk through the details of our program offerings. Just check in at the main entrance, and he'll meet you there!

We're excited to announce that starting next week on Monday, August 24, we'll be offering FREE Sports Performance sessions through Labor Day Weekend! More information will be available soon, or you can learn more in person at this week's open house.

We can't wait to welcome you and show you everything the new Lifestyle Center has to offer. See you there!

Last week, our Sports Medicine team hosted its annual preseason inservice to prepare for the upcoming school year and fall sports season. The day included education and discussion on sports performance, mental health, emergency care, sports nutrition, and more.

Of course, we made time for a little friendly competition and a break from the classroom setting. Athletic trainers Joe Burdi (Northwestern Lehigh) and Sara Tomasovitch (Dunmore) took full advantage, dominating the competition on the court!

As another season gets underway, we wish all of our student-athletes a safe, healthy, and fulfilling school year. We hope your time in the athletic training room is limited, but when you need us, our Sports Medicine team will be there to support you every step of the way.

Before heading off to training camp, Impact Athlete and NFL lineman Nick Dawkins hosted his annual Dawkins Family Foundation Bookbag Drive in Allentown and Bethlehem. The two-day event supplied school supplies, hygiene items, and other essentials to local youth to help get them ready for the upcoming school year.

While at Broughal Middle School, Dawkins, in collaboration with former PSU teammates, Five Star Heart , fellow Impact Athletes, and other local coaches hosted a free football clinic that moved indoors due to rainy weather. Campers enjoyed a mix of football and dodgeball activities to keep the energy going, capping off the afternoon with Batch Microcreamery ice cream.

Dawkins' commitment to giving back continues to make a lasting impact on Lehigh Valley youth, setting the tone for another year of community driven initiatives.

Last week at the new Upper Macungie Township Community Lifestyle Center, we hosted the LVHN Impact Athlete Lacrosse Clinic, where 100 registered boys and girls learned from PLL Utah Archers' Mike Sisselberger and Slippery Rock's Paige Jenkin. This free event took athletes through a series of skills and drills before the girls took down the boys in a friendly goal post/crossbar accuracy competition!

We'd like to thank everyone who made the event possible, including Upper Macungie Recreation, DJ Romeo G, and our coaching assistants who took time out of their day to give back to the sport!

Lighter numbers to wrap up another successful Lafayette College Summer Impact Series, but we were grateful to welcome 100 boys and girls over the course of the six week program.

The series introduced developing athletes to the fundamentals of strength training while incorporating speed, agility, and movement-based exercises designed to build a strong athletic foundation and improve overall performance.

Throughout the summer, Lafayette College student-athletes, including members of our Impact Athlete program, worked alongside participants each week, serving as mentors, demonstrating drills, and helping create a positive and encouraging environment.

A huge thank you to the Lafayette College and LVHN strength coaches, student-athletes, families, and everyone who made this year’s Summer Impact Series possible. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to helping even more young athletes grow both on and off the field next summer.

The LVHN Impact Athlete Lacrosse Clinic will take place Tuesday July 21 at the new Upper Macungie Community Lifestyle Center!

This event will be lead by 2X PLL All Star and Champion Mike Sisselberger as well as 1st Team All American Defender Paige Jenkins of Slippery Rock University! This FREE clinic will be open to boys and girls entering grades 3 through 8 and will be split accordingly!

All standard equipment will be required for this clinic. Cleats will be allowed ONLY on the turf. All campers will be provided a complimentary shirt and beverage at check in.

Tighten your shooting strings and get ready to learn from some of the best in the regions largest indoor turf facility! We look forward to seeing you there!
