We love the natural beauty of Northern Michigan! Where is your happy place?

Torch has a way of taking our breath away with sunsets like this. 🌅

Let’s make some Stuffed ‘Bagels’ 🥯

What you need for the blueberry bagels:

•One tube of crescent rolls
•FruitFast dried wild blueberries
•Egg wash
•Brown sugar

For the stuffed breakfast bagels:

•One tube of crescent rolls
•Scrambled eggs
•Cooked, crumbled bacon
•Shredded cheese
•Egg wash
•Everything seasoning

How to do it:

On parchment paper and a baking sheet, open and separate your tubes of crescent rolls into four rectangular pieces. Place the fillings on 3/4 on the separated portions, longways. Roll the fillings into the dough towards the unfilled part of the dough. Make the tube into a bagel shape. Brush the ‘bagel’ with egg wash and top with sugar/seasoning. Bake on 375 degrees for about 16 minutes or until golden brown.

These were truly both winners, and so easy to make! You could use any of our dried fruit. You could also change up the ingredients in the stuffed breakfast bagels, to your liking. This recipe yields 4 of each type.

Shaved Brussels Sprout w/ Dried Cranberry Salad

•4 C shaved Brussels sprouts
•1/4 C extra virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
•1/4 C fresh lemon juice
•1/2 C toasted pine nuts or cashews
•1/3 C FruitFast dried cranberries
•1/3 C grated pecorino
•1/3 C chopped chives
•Freshly ground salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

•Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Mix the ingredients and set aside for 15 minutes. Taste the combination and adjust seasons to taste. Drizzle with a little bit more of the olive oil. Serve and enjoy!

Michigan got a bit of snow this week ❄️

BREAKING: History was just made in Marquette County, Michigan after a powerful bomb cyclone buried Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula under an unprecedented amount of snow, making it one of the most intense March blizzards ever recorded in the state. One resident woke up to find a snow drift that climbed all the way to the top of their tree. This storm built its own skyline.
