Happy May-Cember!🤪For those of you who are May-ing (iykyk), a little PSA… take a class… seriously… here’s why👇🏻
I have found that when I show up, take a class (whether it’s Yoga, Sculpt, Cycling, or anything else at The Yoga Rooms), I continue to show up throughout my day.
🩷After class, I don’t feel overwhelmed by my to-do list… it’s actually manageable, because I am clear headed. I am better able to prioritize what needs my attention first, and be ok with other tasks moving to another day… no shame in not getting it all done, but a sense of ownership in how I prioritize my time.
🩷After class, I look forward to taking the extra 10 minutes to put on the lotion, dry my hair, and add a pop of color to my face… it’s the simplest way to do a little self-care everyday, and I absolutely can give up 10 minutes of scrolling to feel better and carry myself a little taller.
There are COUNTLESS other side effects of making movement in a community setting, at a space that fills your cup that I could list, but for the sake of May… just know that when you show up for yourself… when you take the class… you manage your time better, and that May chaos turns into May memories that you were fully and completely present for.
And that’s actually all we really want… presence in the here and now.
