Hope4YourFitness I guide people on how create a healthy vessel within your body diagnostic tests & lifestyle. I'm your wellness practitioner. It's sick care.

What is Fitness

“one’s ability to execute daily activities with optimal performance, endurance, and strength with the management of disease, fatigue, and stress and reduced sedentary behavior.”

Hi I'm Kim and welcome to Hope4YourFitness. I’m a Certified Health Restoration Practitioner, Certified Personal Trainer and Functional Nutritionist. I'm also a Certified Essential Oils coach. I believe

food and movement should be for function. Eating to live and help your body thrive free of disease. Movement is to help you have strength, balance and mobility that supports overall health and everyday function. I also believe you deserve better health care and I'm here to guide you on that path. Maybe you thought it was never possible. Maybe you've been told there is nothing wrong with you yet you don't feel well every day! That's because most medical professionals look for the band aid approach. The tools they use to mask symptoms with medications and some unnecessary surgeries without first looking to the root cause of why you have those symptoms is not healthcare. When we stop taking medications we are still sick. Remove organs and new health concerns arise. I believe there is a time and place for medications and surgeries. Medicines for short term use are sometimes needed and some surgeries are for lifesaving measures. I'm not a medical professional but I work along side them to give quality of care and after care for illnesses and surgeries. I was certified to become a practitioner by the Wellness Way, a series of restoration clinics worldwide. These principles have helped many get their health back after being told there was no hope. I believe in getting to root causes of illness through testing and restoring the body. The body doesn’t make mistakes. Lifestyle is the contributing factor for wellness. I help you transform from fatigued and failure to fabulous and forever!! I'm also an independent consultant with a health/wellness/beauty company. I recommend non-toxic wellness & personal care products to support a health. I only recommend products and services that I believe are deeply rooted in a holistic approach to healthy living. I've been a writer for Best Holistic Life magazine where I have had the privilege to share my message of Hope around the globe. My journey began with my own health diagnosis of Hashimoto's and Osteopenia. I wasn't getting answers I needed from health professionals and I knew lifelong medications were not the answer. My quest for health knowledge and a holistic approach deep rooted in science led me on the path I'm on now, to serve others. My passion for wellness has not only helped heal myself but countless others. I want the same for you! Reach out and schedule your free 15 min consultation and let's see if we are a fit. 🍎🍁 Welcome to the ~Ber months… let’s make them healthy ones.

Fall weather is creeping in… and soon so will the sniffles, coughs and viruses that seem to make their rounds.

But fall also brings a BIG shift in our everyday habits.

🍩 It’s sugary season.
Apple c***r donuts, pumpkin lattes, pies, Halloween candy, holiday treats… sugar starts showing up everywhere.

😵‍💫 It’s stress season.
School. Homework. Sports. Careers. Running kids everywhere. Packed calendars and the beginning of the holiday hustle.

😴 It’s less-sleep season.
Later nights, earlier mornings and way too many people running on fumes.

☀️ It’s less-sunshine season.
Cooler weather means more time indoors and less time outside getting natural light, fresh air and movement.

🏋🏻‍♀️ And workouts often get pushed aside as we try to adapt to busier schedules again.

So instead of waiting until you’re run down, start supporting your body NOW.

And one of my favorite places to start?

YOUR GUT. 🌱

Your gut and immune system are closely connected, which makes good nutrition especially important as we head into the colder months.

Meal prep.
Pull out the crockpot.
Stock the fridge with whole foods.
Eat seasonally.
Prioritize protein, fiber and colorful plants.
And start adding some of these fall gut-friendly foods from this carousel into your week. 🍎🧄🎃🥬

The best way to make your wellness a priority during a busy season is to prepare for it.

And while you’re making that fall to-do list…

🔥 Don’t forget the FIRE C***R!

Now is the perfect time to get a batch brewing.

Comment “RECIPE” and I’ll send you my directions + full fire c***r recipe.

Here’s to cozy sweaters, colorful leaves, crockpot meals and taking care of ourselves through the ~Ber months. 🍁🦃🎄

I might not have agreed 100% with everything Gloria Steinem did or stood for, but I also know I wouldn’t be who I am—or doing what I do today—without women like her paving the way.

I don’t consider myself a feminist.

I’m not anti-man or pro-woman. I’m pro-equality, while also believing men & women are different—and there’s nothing wrong with that.

But I absolutely recognize what women like Gloria fought for.

For women to vote.
To go to college.
To pursue careers once reserved for men.
To advance in those careers.
To hold positions in government.
To have choices & opportunities generations before us didn’t have.

And I believe in choice.

A choice of a mother who wants to stay home and raise her children in leu of a career

I believe in “my body, my choice”—and I don’t believe that principle should apply exclusively to reproductive rights.

We don’t have to fit perfectly into one political, social or ideological box to recognize the impact someone had.

One message from Gloria that has always resonated with me was the idea that we don’t live our lives only for ourselves. We use our experiences to help light the way for others.

And maybe that’s the piece I carry with me most.

My wellness business has evolved around that very principle.

My own thyroid illness and injury last year taught me to ask questions beyond a diagnosis, a timeline or treatment plan.

Each doesn’t necessarily tell the whole story of an individual’s healing.

Through my own healing journey, I’ve learned to look deeper & search for root causes. I believe the body has an incredible capacity for healing when we support it with what it needs and reduce the things working against it.

So I’ll keep carrying my torch.

If that experience can be shared & help light someone else’s torch so they can begin asking questions, advocating for themselves & seeing what may be possible for their own health—that’s exactly what I want to do.

We are not defined by any one belief, experience, diagnosis, label or chapter of our lives.

And maybe that’s one of the greatest lessons of all.
Carry your torch. 🔥
Use it to help someone else find their light.

WE HAVE TO PROTECT CHILDREN. PERIOD.

What a week. I made the decision to cut ties with a brand after learning information I simply could not ignore related child endangerment. That alone made me reevaluate where I put my support, my platform and my money.

But then another story broke that every parent and grandparent needs to know about.

A federal appeals court just upheld a ruling involving a Wisconsin man who was arrested after using AI to create and distribute images of children engaged in s*xually explicit acts.

The court ruled that, under existing Supreme Court precedent, the government could not criminalize the private possession of entirely obscene material when no real child was depicted. Even though he used pictures of real children stolen from the internet he’s protected by the 1st amendment.

The judges expressed serious concern about what rapidly advancing AI now makes possible. Think about where we are.

AI can create incredibly realistic images.

We freely put pictures of our children online.
We upload videos containing their faces and voices.
And once something is on the internet, we lose an enormous amount of control over where it goes and how it can be manipulated.

People have asked why I don’t share pictures of my new grandson online.

This is why.

When I do share something, his face is covered. His privacy and safety are more important to me than likes, comments or sharing every beautiful moment.

Parents, PLEASE think before you post.

Protect your children’s faces.
Be careful who photographs them.
Ask family and friends not to post them without permission.
Review privacy settings.
Think about how much identifying information you’re sharing alongside their photos.

Technology is moving faster than our laws, and I don’t believe we can simply assume someone else is going to protect our children for us.

AI can be misused, children deserve adults willing to stand between them and people who would harm them.

We have to do better.
We have to protect ALL children.

Please share this with another parent or grandparent who may have no idea what AI is now capable of. 🤍

When you know better, you do better. 🤍

I’ll no longer be supporting or recommending Ideal Living, AirDoctor or AquaTru. My affiliate links have been removed from my recommendation lists.

These are products my own family has purchased and used, and like so many others, I simply didn’t know about information surrounding CEO Peter Spiegel that has recently come to my attention — and his connection to something I personally would never support.

That said, don’t throw your machines away! You spent hard-earned money on them. I’m currently looking into compatible replacement filters so you can continue using what you already own without continuing to financially support the company. I have water systems I currently use and love.

I take your trust seriously. When I learn something that changes whether I can stand behind a brand, I’ll tell you.

I’ll keep researching, keep asking questions and keep sharing the low-tox + healthy-living swaps my own family uses. 🤍

Comment “SUPPORT” if you’d like the alternatives I find.

Another state is changing the language around WOMEN.

Pennsylvania has sweeping new health regulations on the table 👇

Among the proposed changes, terms like “pregnant woman” would become “pregnant individual,” and mothers of still borns would be replaced with terms like “postpartum individual. It erases female identity as a stable category in favor of a fluid concept of gender.

I’m going to say it: why are we removing WOMEN and MOTHERS from language surrounding pregnancy and birth?

Women are not offensive. Mother is not an outdated term. And biological s*x still matters in healthcare.

There’s more than language changes getting attention.

Proposed §27.60c addresses Department of Health access to students at school for disease investigation, contact tracing and partner services — including private contact with a student during school hours.

Proposed §27.36 also expands reporting of administered immunizations to Pennsylvania’s immunization information system.

PA House Republican Leader Jesse Topper, is raising concerns about privacy, parental involvement & how much authority should be given to the Department of Health through regulation rather than legislation.

Conversations worth having.

There ARE some positives I’m happy to see coming out of Pennsylvania, too. The state has been investing in postpartum depression screening, mental-health resources and expanded coverages for maternal care including doulas.

Supporting mothers? 👏
Giving women better postpartum care? 👏
Helping families access resources? 👏

But can why removing the words WOMAN and MOTHER from women’s healthcare?

And can we protect public health while still protecting parental rights, medical privacy and informed consent?

These regulations are still PROPOSED — which means Pennsylvanians still have an opportunity to make their voices heard.

Because whether you support these changes or oppose them, decisions involving our children, our medical information and our healthcare deserve PUBLIC conversation — not silence.

Thoughts on replacing “mother” and overreach?

Ladies… convenience can come with consequences.

We’ve been taught that manipulating our hormones is normal.

Don’t want a period? Take birth control.
Painful periods? Birth control.
Acne? Birth control.
Irregular cycles? Birth control.

Convenient? Maybe.

But stopping ovulation or changing your bleeding pattern is not the same thing as regulating your natural hormones.

Hormonal birth control works by altering normal hormonal signaling to prevent pregnancy by suppressing ovulation, changing cervical mucus and thinning the uterine lining.

And it isn’t risk-free.

Hormonal contraceptives have been associated with:
• Increased risk of blood clots
• Loss in nutrients: B vitamins, zinc, selenium, magnesium and copper needed to form metabolism, thyroid and more.
• Increased risk for anxiety and depression inability to processes emotions and makes devious changes and increased risk for depression
• Increased risk for gut permeability and intestinal environment that effects
an immune response
• Increases in the risk of cancers
•Increased risk to shrink your hypothalamus

Oral contraceptives are classified by the International Agency for Research on Cancer as Group 1 carcinogenic to humans. The same category as to***co and asbestos.

Birth control deserves to be understand what it does — especially when it’s prescribed for years simply to make periods more “convenient” or to cover up symptoms.

A painful, heavy, irregular or miserable cycle is information from your body.

Why is it happening?

PCOS? Thyroid dysfunction? Insulin resistance? Endometriosis? Nutrient deficiencies? Stress? Something else?

Birth control may manage the symptom.

But managing the symptom and investigating the WHY are two different things.

Convenience should never replace informed consent.

Know the benefits. Know the risks. Know your options. Then make the decision that’s right for YOU. 🤍

WHEN FRESH MATTERS 🌿

I talk a lot about packaged + processed foods — preservatives, shelf-stable ingredients and why I believe in eating mostly whole, minimally processed foods.

We’ve all seen those videos…

🍞 Bread that somehow doesn’t mold for months.
🍟 A McDonald’s meal that barely seems to age.

It makes you wonder… what keeps it “fresh” for so long?

But have you ever asked the same question about what you put ON your body?

Our everyday face wash, lotion, body wash, shampoo, toothpaste and deodorant also need to survive manufacturing, warehouses, distributors, store shelves… and eventually our bathroom cabinets.

Some sit around for YEARS.

Ever notice stores still selling last year’s seasonal products?

So how do they last that long? 👀

Preservatives.

And while preservatives serve an important purpose in preventing microbial growth, the type of preservative, concentration, formulation + exposure matter to me.

Because I believe…

🌿 Ingredients matter.
🌿 Fresh matters.
🌿 Lowering our everyday toxic load matters.
🌿 Sustainability matters.
🌿 Testing throughout production matters.

Here’s the thing — a 100% toxin-free life doesn’t exist.

We can’t avoid every pesticide, contaminant, chemical or environmental exposure.

But we CAN become more intentional about the things we choose to eat, put on our skin and bring into our homes every single day.

And recently I found another brand that fits beautifully into that toolbox.

✨ Fresh-batched products with expiration dates
✨ Botanical ingredients
✨ Quality + sustainability standards
✨ 30+ years in business
✨ And somehow… not yet in the U.S.

But that changes this fall. 🇺🇸🌿

Over the next couple months, I’ll be sharing what I’ve discovered — from their fresh-production philosophy and formulations to sustainability, ingredient standards and even a really fascinating business opportunity.

If fresh + ingredient standards are a rabbit hole you’d go down with me…

Comment FRESH and I’ll add you to my curiosity list. 👀🌿

High beef prices + a U.S. cattle shortage… so the answer is IMPORT MORE BEEF? 🥩🇺🇸

Shut the front door. Not so fast.

President Trump just signed a 90-day plan allowing up to 300,000 metric tons of additional foreign lean beef trimmings into the U.S. at the lower in-quota tariff rate in an effort to bring down ground beef prices.

Sounds good for our grocery bills…but what about the bigger picture?

🇺🇸 American cattle supplies are already at a 75-year low. Drought, rising operating costs and challenges within the meatpacking industry have made rebuilding herds difficult.

And ranchers are pushing back on this plan for a reason:

🥩 More imported beef could put additional pressure on U.S. ranchers who need strong returns to rebuild their herds.

🏷️ Where did your beef actually come from? Country-of-origin labeling remains a huge transparency issue when consumers want to know where their meat was raised and processed.

🌱 How was that animal raised?
Grass-fed or grain-fed?
Grass-finished?
Antibiotics?
Added hormones?
What were the farming and processing standards?

These are questions I want answered before beef reaches my plate.

And this is exactly why I keep saying…

VOTE WITH YOUR DOLLARS.

For the next 90 days, make those dollars count:

🇺🇸 Look for Product of USA
👩‍🌾 Buy directly from local farmers and ranchers
🌱 Support U.S. regenerative farms
🐄 Look for grass-fed AND grass-finished
🔎 Look for verified claims regarding antibiotics and added hormones
🤝 Ask your farmer how their cattle are actually raised

Lower grocery prices sound great.

But a short-term cheaper burger shouldn’t come at the expense of the American ranchers we’ll need to feed us long after those 90 days are over.

If we want American farms to survive, we have to actually BUY from American farms. 🇺🇸🥩

Would you pay a little more for beef if you knew it was raised by an American farmer with standards you trust?

This ONE daily habit could be adding to your stomach cancer risk 👀🥤

New research from Mass General Brigham found that drinking one or more sugar-sweetened beverages a day was associated with nearly 3X the risk of gastric cancer compared with drinking fewer than one per month.

And considering how common these drinks are… this deserves attention.

We’re talking:
🥤 Soda
⚡ Energy drinks
🏃 Sports drinks
☕ Sweetened coffees
🍋 Lemonades
🧃 Juice drinks

Researchers are especially concerned because GI cancers have been increasing in younger adults under 50.

And this is part of a much bigger conversation.

A diet high in added sugar + ultra-processed foods has been associated with metabolic dysfunction, fatty liver, type 2 diabetes and chronic inflammation — and researchers continue to investigate how these patterns may influence cancer risk.

One important distinction: this isn’t about being afraid of fruit.

Whole fruit comes packaged with fiber, vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients. That’s very different from regularly drinking beverages loaded with added sugars or high-fructose corn syrup.

But before you grab the “ZERO SUGAR” version… read that label too.

Many replace sugar with artificial sweeteners, dyes and other additives. “Sugar-free” comes with its own list of side effects.

My go-to swaps?

💧 Water — add berries, citrus, cucumber or mint
🥥 Unsweetened coconut water
🧂 Electrolytes without artificial dyes + sweeteners
🍵 Unsweetened tea
☕ Coffee without sugary syrups
🌿 When you want sweetness, look for options using ingredients like monk fruit, dates, or Rev M from Stevia or small amounts of honey

You don’t have to fear sugar. Nature created the best sources.

But drinking large amounts of added sugar every single day is a habit worth looking at.

Looking for better swaps? Drop your favorite drink below and I’ll give you some alternatives. 👇
