It feels bittersweet to share that I’ve made the decision to say farewell to Melnaturel. It started as a small hobby in 2016 and grew into a business that taught me so much and allowed me to form so many wonderful relationships.
Throughout the adventure I won a Red Letter Grant, received the Western Dairyland Community Action Agency New Small Business of The Year award, was featured in the news several times, and spoke about entrepreneurship and startups to numerous audiences. I sold products in person, in multiple stores throughout Wisconsin, on my website, Amazon, and Etsy. I had 32 items in my product line and I shipped thousands across nearly all 50 states, Canada, Germany, and France. I had seven college interns working and mentoring alongside me to build the business. There were many great successes, tons of lessons learned, and limitless potential which kept it fun and exciting.
While I am incredibly proud and humbled to have checked the box of owning my own business, life has changed a lot the last few years and my priorities have shifted. 👶🏼👶🏼
If you’re interested in supporting my business one last time I encourage you to shop at The Local Store & Volume One Gallery or Locally Inspired. Both of these small businesses have recently stocked products and have been incredibly supportive of my business over the years. You can also find all final remaining products I have available on my website, www.Melnaturel.com. In honor of Small Business Saturday and the end of the Melnaturel era, all products on my website are 20% off.
I will officially close on December 31 unless all products are sold sooner. Please consider buying gifts for loved ones, coworkers, stocking stuffers, or something special for yourself!
THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me and Melnaturel over the past six years, I appreciate it more than words can express. 🙏🏼
Xoxo
