I wanted to brag on my patients today. Twice since I have been at the office the last 20 years….. we have had to call an ambulance twice.
The first time was years ago when a patient noticed someone slumped over in the car not responsive. What happened was this person had experienced a huge sugar drop in their blood before coming in for their adjustment and passed out (thankfully this happened after they parked the car and not while the car was in motion).
The car was locked and we couldn’t get in so one of my patient sprung to action and got out a kit he kept in his truck and was able to “jimmy” the door with his special tool and other patient who was a nurse jumped into the car and took care of the patient until the ambulance came.
Today it happened again that we had to call an ambulance. A patient was having a severe asthma attack and was on the verge of passing out and sure enough… one of my patients there was a nurse and she sprung into action preventing a serious situation from getting worse.
While the ambulance was on their way…. this patient was an absolute rockstar taking care of the patient just like she was her momma!!! ❤️
It’s a very good feeling when I know all of us (patients and team members) are looking out for each other and always ready to spring into action!!!!
Also a special thanks to the Eden EMT who got here quick and took fantastic care of the patient!!! We appreciate you guys!!! All first responders too!!!!

One of my patients had something wrapped up for me today. Once I got home I opened it up in my car and was super surprised and very touched by the time and thought that went into the gift.
It was a painting of my office with a note…..

Attention teachers!!! We have had a ton of teachers come by the past week and fill up a bookbag full of things that they need for their classroom!!!
Our patients have generously donated a ton of school supplies to help the teachers and students of Rockingham County!
Now that school will be in full swing this week…. if you are a teacher and would like to stop by and grab items that would help make the beginning of your school year go better….. PLEASE COME IN!!!!
Come in between the hours of 7:30-10:45 am and 2:00-5:45 pm Mon, Wed, Thursday. Tuesdays we are only open for afternoon hours and we are closed on Fridays.

We won!!!!!!! Brody’s beach baseball tourney ended on a perfect note with a championship win!!! Brody’s team won all 5 games.
Brody played great and Margo was SUCH a trooper sitting through all of his games in the sweltering thick humid heat (heat index was 103)!!!!
On the way home with a tired, but happy family!!! God is good and I couldn’t ask for more 🙏❤️⚾️
Looking forward in seeing all of my patients this week!!!!!
On a side note… it was great seeing this team do a prayer huddle before each game!!!! 🙏💪

You know how awesome it feels when you meet someone for the first time and 5 minutes later……. they feel like a lifetime family member you have always known?!?!?!
Well stuff like that happens a lot at my office. Take yesterday for example……..
This super nice awesome fella came in. He noticed that our office was closed today. He asked me why and I told him that my son had a baseball tourney this weekend at Myrtle Beach.
He told me that he was actually going to be in Myrtle Beach this Saturday as well.
He asked me where my son was playing, what the name of his team was, what number he was, etc. He said he wanted to stop by and watch the game and watch my son play!!!!!
I just met this fella the other day and he’s wanting to take time out of his day and watch my son play baseball ❤️⚾️
These “insta” connections are awesome. It’s fulfilling when these connections can be made quickly and a person feels like they are a part of your “circle”!!!!
Moral of the story…… people are awesome!!!

I am incredibly PROUD to be your dad!!!! Everyone refers to you as the nice kid…. the best kid….. the smart kid…… the athletic kid.
Everytime you see me…. you give me a huge smile and come up and hug me which absolutely melts my heart EVERY SINGLE TIME.
I always tell him…. no matter how old you are those hugs better never stop because it’s truly my favorite part of the day!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I asked him what he wanted for his birthday and he said all he wanted was to see a Dodgers game so tomorrow wheels up to Los Angeles to see the Dodgers!!!! ✈️⚾️🏟️

Just made my 4th run to the store to buy school supplies for our awesome teachers!!!!! I was able to buy over $800 worth of supplies today. PLEASE thank our wonderful patients. Half of these funds come from my own wallet, but the other half are coming from our amazing patients that unselfishly donate to help our community!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE thank them!!!! 🙏
Today I focused on the high demand items such as headphones, sticky Post-it notes, card stock, etc.
These items are NOT CHEAP and I want to take the burden off teachers and students whose families might be struggling financially.
My goal was to FULLY supply 30 or more teachers….. I will say we are about 80% of the way there!!!! 💪❤️💪❤️

Attention patients!!!!!
I messed up and had the wrong dates when we put out the original notice of closure dates for August.
Here are the correct dates below!
I am participating in a charity event on Wednesday August 12th (this is next Wednesday). The event is not until noon so I WILL BE ADJUSTING that morning. We will only be closed that afternoon!!!!
Now for the second closure ……..
Brody got player of the game when he went to the Cal Ripken tourney a month ago. Because he got player of the game he has been chosen to participate in the All Ripken games in Myrtle Beach. Originally it was not supposed to start until Friday August 21st, but we just got an email that the schedule has changed and now it starts on Thursday August 20th 🤦🏼‍♂️
So this means we will be closed Thursday Aug 20th.
I hate closing the office, but I know you guys understand how important my kids are to me so thanks for understanding. I am very excited about seeing my son play in this special tourney in Myrtle Beach.
To summarize …..
Closed next Wednesday Aug 12th afternoon. We will be open that morning.
Closed all day on Thursday Aug 20th.
