Every month is Su***de Prevention Month, but in September, we get a little louder. 🤍 This isn’t a trend. It isn’t just a September conversation. Su***de and mental health affect millions of people every single day.So maybe this post is just a reminder to pause the scroll. Take a breath. Look around you. Check in on your people. The loud one.\ The funny one.\ The quiet one.\ The one who always says, “I’m fine.”\ The one you haven’t heard from in a while. Mental illness doesn’t always look how we imagine it. Sometimes the signs are obvious. Sometimes they’re hidden behind a smile, a joke, a busy life, or a simple “I’m okay.” You never really know what someone is carrying.Maybe this post means nothing to some people. But maybe it makes one person feel seen. Maybe it reminds someone they’re loved. Maybe it gives someone the courage to speak, to ask for help, or to stay. And if that’s all it does, it matters. 🤍

Check in. Listen. Ask twice. Stay a little longer.

You are loved.
You matter.
You are not alone.

Talk to someone. See a professional. Take the medication if it’s prescribed. Accept the help. There is no shame in needing support.
