DISCERN THE DIFFERENCE

Not everything that looks spiritual is from God.

Some things feel powerful.
They sound enlightened.
They promise healing, abundance, awakening, higher consciousness.

Crystal energy.
Chakra alignment.
Astrology and birth charts.
Manifestation rituals.
Law of Attraction.
Spirit guides.
Tarot cards.
Reiki.
Energy Healing.
“Speaking to the universe.”
Third eye awakening.
Kundalini awakening.

But the enemy doesn’t create — he counterfeits.

The Bible says Satan masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). That means deception doesn’t always look dark… sometimes it looks beautiful, mystical, and empowering.

From the beginning, the lie has been the same:
“You will be like God.” (Genesis 3:5)

New Age teachings often mirror Kingdom principles:
• Manifestation vs. Faith in God
• “You are divine” vs. Made in God’s image
• The universe vs. The Holy Spirit
• Karma vs. Sowing and reaping
• Energy alignment vs. Surrender to God’s will

It sounds similar.
But the source is different.

One says, “Look within.”
The other says, “Deny yourself and follow Me.” (Luke 9:23)

One elevates self.
The other exalts Christ.

One removes repentance.
The other leads to the Cross.

A counterfeit only exists because there is something real worth copying.

Discernment matters.
Truth matters.
Jesus is not one path among many — He is the Way (John 14:6).

So ask yourself:

Is it spiritual… or is it biblical?
Is it empowerment… or surrender?
Is it the Kingdom… or a counterfeit?
