This last weekend I had the opportunity to learn from all about the cranium, cranial sutures and how much everything in our amazing bodies is connected. Shed light on how what we do in our clinic affects the whole body and underscores the importance of collaborative care. I’m so grateful for wonderful like minded providers and their willingness to share their knowledge and expertise.

Check out the changes on this little patient who was 3 years old when we evaluated her for severe maxillary hypoplasia. We’ve been treating her with Toothpillow and now at age 4 has corrected the cross bite and gained amazing symmetry that will change the trajectory of her whole life. This is after just sleeping in it for 12 months! So cool!!

Was blessed to spend this week with the amazing team at The Breathe Institute while I attended Dr Zaghi’s Breathe course. It was as always, phenomenal. I so admire the charge he and the team are leading and the difference they are making. They are a true testament to the constant pursuit of truth and excellence, constantly refining, continuously asking the hard questions. As I reflect on my interactions over the years with the whole TBI team I consider myself fortunate to be a small part of what they stand for. They truly provide education at its finest, But it’s more than that. It’s a family. A culture. A corroborating group of highly driven professionals that lift the tide they sail and that of all those wise enough to be in their proximity. And I get to meet the greatest doctors from around the country!

Had an awesome weekend at the ASBA annual conference. I received Diplomate status in Sleep Dentistry. I was able to meet up with old friends from all over the country that also happen to be some of the best airway dentists in the country. Rubbing shoulders with and learning from these folks is pretty amazing. It really recharges my batteries. And, I sat next to Patrick McKeown! He is amazing! And super nice and down to earth. His knowledge in breathing is second to none. All the speakers were amazing!
