National Night Out – October 6th, 2026

Next month, Ganado will be hosting National Night Out on Tuesday, October 6th, at Devers Creek Park, located at the end of W. Sutherland St. This is a great opportunity for the community to come out, meet our local first responders, check out emergency vehicles and equipment, ask questions, and discuss any concerns you may have. Several local organizations will also have booths set up and will be happy to share information about the resources and opportunities they offer. Ganado VFD will also be providing hot dogs, chips, and drinks! Come out and join us for a fun evening with the community! We hope to see you there! 🇺🇸🚓🚒🚑

🐾❤️ Happy National Dog Day! ❤️🐾
Today, we’re celebrating one very special member of the Jackson County Hospital District family — Apollo! 🐶🚑
Apollo isn’t just our therapy dog and coworker; he’s a source of comfort, happiness, and unconditional love. He has a way of turning a tough day around with a wagging tail, a gentle presence, and, of course, plenty of cuddles. ❤️
We spend our days taking care of others, and we’re incredibly thankful to have Apollo reminding us that sometimes we need a little care, too.
Thank you, Apollo, for all the smiles, comfort, and joy you bring to our crews and our community. We’re lucky to have you! 🐾
Happy National Dog Day from Apollo and the JCHD family! ❤️🐶🚑

15 YEARS OF JCHD EMS! 🚑

Fifteen years ago, JCHD EMS began with just 7 staff members, one primary ambulance, one backup truck, and one station, primarily serving the communities of Ganado and PCT.

Today, look how far we’ve come.

From those humble beginnings to a fleet of 7 ambulances, 2 stations, and a team of more than 40 dedicated EMS professionals, JCHD EMS now proudly serves all of Jackson County.

But the numbers only tell part of the story. The real story is the people. The men and women who have answered the call, worked long shifts, missed holidays, responded in the middle of the night, and continued showing up for their community day after day.

Fifteen years of growth.
Fifteen years of change.
Fifteen years of answering the call.

And most importantly, 15 years of serving Jackson County with pride.

To everyone who has been a part of the JCHD EMS family over the past 15 years, past and present, thank you! You helped build this agency into what it is today, and we’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come.

Here’s to 15 years behind us and many more years of serving the people of Jackson County ahead.

Happy 15th Anniversary, JCHD EMS! 🎉

A huge thank you to RBank for your incredibly kind gesture and for taking the time to show appreciation to first responders. The thoughtful luncheon, delicious food, and heartfelt message truly meant so much to us.

It’s gestures like this that remind us how fortunate we are to have community partners who recognize and support the men and women who are always ready to answer the call.

From all of us at EMS, thank you for thinking of us, supporting us, and making us feel appreciated!

We are truly grateful for your generosity and support of our community!

Thank you, RBank!

As the new school year begins, all of us at Jackson County Hospital District EMS want to wish every student, teacher, and school staff member a safe and successful year! 🍎🚌📚
One of our favorite parts of serving this community is having the opportunity to show our neighbors—especially our youngest future heroes—what we do and how we help when people need us most. Whether we're visiting schools, attending community events, or responding to emergencies, we're proud to demonstrate the skills, equipment, and compassion that allow us to care for our community 24/7.
We hope seeing our ambulances and meeting our crews helps children feel confident, curious, and reassured that we're always here to help when it matters most.
Have an amazing school year, and remember: learn, be kind, stay safe, and never stop asking questions. We can't wait to see you out in our community!
