MidCoast WellCare MidTown is proud to share this important community safety initiative from the El Campo Police Department.

From September 1 through October 24, community members can safely dispose of unused or expired medications in the medication drop-off box located in the Police Department lobby. No questions asked.

Proper medication disposal helps prevent misuse and keeps medications out of the wrong hands. Protect your family. Protect our community. Dispose responsibly.

Medication Take Back Program!

If you have old or unused medications—whether over-the-counter or prescription—you can safely dispose of them at the El Campo Police Department. Simply drop them off in the secure metal container located in the lobby.

No appointment needed
No need to speak with anyone
Lobby is open 24/7 for your convenience

Please note: NO vapes, aerosol products, or needles will be accepted.
This program will run September 1, 2026 - October 24, 2026.

We're proud to spotlight Alexis Turner, APRN-FNP-C, a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare to the community she calls home.

Alexis is committed to helping patients receive the care they need close to home and guiding them to the right resources when additional specialty care is needed.

Outside of the clinic, Alexis enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin, and their two children, Jasper and Marguerite. She loves baking sourdough, cheering on the Texas A&M Aggies, volunteering at the Wharton County Youth Fair, and making memories with family and friends.

We're grateful to have Alexis serving El Campo and the surrounding communities with the compassionate care our patients deserve.
