Please note: Cedar County Health Department provides testing services only. We do not provide clinical diagnosis or medical treatment. Test results will be provided for you to share with your primary care provider or healthcare clinic.

The Cedar County Health Department will be closed Monday, September 7th, for Labor Day at our El Dorado Springs and Stockton offices.

We will reopen and resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8th, at both locations.

Get your blood work done at the Cedar County Health Department. We offer convenient, affordable cash-pay lab services with clear, upfront pricing. We do not bill insurance, so there are no complicated claims to navigate and no surprise bills later.

How it works:
-No doctor’s order is needed for several of our routine wellness screenings!
-Some specific tests do require a provider’s order. Your doctor can send us the order, or you can bring it with you.
-We will draw your blood and once we have results, we can provide your results directly to you or send them to your provider of choice for seamless care.

We're Open in Stockton Today!

The Cedar County Health Department's Stockton office is officially open and ready to serve the community.

🚧 Please note: Parking lot improvements are currently underway at the building. We are still open! Please utilize the parking on the far side of the building and make your way inside using the sidewalks and side entrance.

Exciting News for Stockton!

The Cedar County Health Department is excited to announce the opening of our Stockton office beginning Monday, August 3!

We plan to bring many of the same public health services offered in our El Dorado Springs office to the Stockton community. Beginning August 3, we will offer:

✅ Height & Weight Checks
✅ Blood Sugar Finger Stick Checks
✅ Blood Draw/Laboratory Services
✅ The Milk Bank Drop-Off Location
✅ FREE Prenatal Vitamins
✅ FREE Contraceptives
✅ FREE Naloxone (Narcan)

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Cedar County Memorial Hospital for partnering with us to help make this possible. Their generosity in providing space for our office and their support in preparing the building have been instrumental in bringing these services back to the Stockton community. We are grateful for their commitment to improving access to healthcare for the residents of Cedar County.

Our El Dorado Springs office will continue to be open Monday through Friday, so this new location simply allows us to better serve even more members of our community.
