I had a feeling something like this was going on. I really believe when you take a moment to be calm your brain and cells of your body communicate and figure things out and can work together to fix most problems. Why would they not want to do that, it's beneficial to all of them, all the organs, and all the individual cells.
The only weird thing is programmed cell death. Certain cells are told by, I guess the DNA, to only live so long. They are usually cells that take on damage regularly and the body is prepared to build new ones of regularly, like skin cells. I wonder if they are, "programmed to die," or if once damaged the rest of the body just does not repair them or a combo of both? Maybe they just don't repair themselves after a certain time frame? Maybe some cells would not want to do what the rest of the body/brain want, in order to keep on surviving? Probably, I guess generally, they all seem to work together. Maybe it's in the DNA that certain cells don't repair after so many cycles? Probably your brain can ask your cells what do you need to be healthy and happy, that's why we get sleepy, thirsty, hungry, feel pain and discomfort, it likely pays to listen in many cases.

This is my cat Lincoln (cat I have been babysitting for years,) drinking out of the famous Ravioli the cat mug. Not to name drop and show off, but I am personal friends with Ravioli the celebrity cat. I just hung out with him a bit yesterday, as a matter of fact.
Ravioli 's manager (caretaker/loving adopter), Joe, fairly regularly hires me to scoop Ravioli's and his Cat entourage's cat turds and vacuum their cat trees. Ravioli, as many cats nowadays, for some reason do, developed severe teeth troubles. Many of his teeth were pulled out by the veterinarian. Now his gums touch and his canine fang reaches down lower outside of his mouth. He looks like a Vampire Cat. Ravioli actually only has 1 fang, these days. Maybe at some point he had 2. He is a very happy and loving, great cat. My Lincoln is a pain in the neck. Ravioli is not actually a Vampire, I assure you he eats only Cat food, I gave him McDonald's once and stressed out Joe a little bit. Just a little McDonald's, skinned nuggets. No blood sucking.
