The Morning Nutrition Mistake Most Women Make

Mornings are a whole event and especially for moms.

Getting yourself ready. Getting the kids ready. Making sure everyone's fed. Making it to wherever you are going on time. All while trying to show up for yourself, not just survive the day.

And somewhere in the chaos, most women skip breakfast entirely. Or grab something quick that spikes their blood sugar and leaves them crashing by the time midday hits.

Here's what I want you to think about instead:

Before you walk out the door, eat something with protein in it. Whatever protein looks like in your house like eggs, a handful of nuts, some yogurt, leftover chicken, whatever you enjoy and have. Pair it with something that gives you lasting energy.

That's it. The specific food matters far less than the habit of fueling yourself before you go.

When your blood sugar is stable, you can be present. You can go about your day without distraction. You can listen without your stomach growling.

You deserve to feel good every day, in your spirit AND your body.

Save this for every day! And especially your Sunday morning.

What does your daily morning routine look like right now? Tell me below.

She Lost 3 Inches in 30 Days — But That's Not the Best Part

When she joined Faith Food and Fellowship, she didn't believe it would work for her.

She'd tried programs before. She'd counted calories, cut carbs, done the 30-day challenges.
And every single time, life got in the way, and she gave up feeling worse than when she started.

Days passed and weeks too, she stayed consistent and grounded. Participated and engaged. Days later? She'd lost 3 inches.

But here's what she told me that made me tear up:

"For the first time in years, I don't feel guilty when I eat. I feel like I have a plan, a community, and a God who's in this with me."

That's the transformation I'm after. Not just the inches, though those matter. But the peace. The confidence. The renewed relationship with your body and your faith.

That's what's possible for you too.

I Almost Quit. Here's What Stopped Me.

I'm going to be honest with you today.

There was a season not too long ago where I was coaching women on health and faith, and privately, I was drowning.

Stress eating every night after the kids went to bed. Skipping workouts because I was exhausted. Avoiding the mirror. Feeling like a fraud every time I posted.

I almost walked away from all of it.

But then the shift came, by God's grace, I started making the connection between faith, how I believe and my health. The call to eat and drink in the name of the Lord. The call to consider food as a tool and not an identity. That God was in charge of my health, and He was interested in my physical state as much as my spiritual state. That all I should do for his honor.

And I heard it like a whisper: Keep going. Not because you're perfect. But because this is your assignment.

So, I kept going. Messy, tired, imperfect and obedient.

Many times, people wait for the end product to share the triumphs and that leaves the people going through the process half of the time feeling like that's not them.

But the realization that the messy and imperfect process is part of the deal is freedom.

I'm sharing this because I know some of you are in that season right now. And I want you to know: your struggle doesn't disqualify you. It qualifies you to help someone else, and even better it leads you to the cross, to dependence on God.

Keep going.

Have you ever felt like giving up on something you knew you were called to? Tell me in the comments — you're not alone.

Your Body Is a Temple; And That's Not Condemnation

"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?" — 1 Corinthians 6:19

For years, I read that verse and felt shame.

Like I was failing God every time I ate something "bad." Like my body was evidence of my lack of discipline, my lack of faith.

But here's what I've come to understand: God wasn't writing that verse to condemn us. He was writing it to invite us.

To remind us that we are worth caring for. That our health matters not as a performance, but as a form of stewardship.

Stewarding your body isn't about being a certain size. It's about having the energy to show up for your family. The clarity to hear God's voice. The strength to walk out your purpose.

This week, I want to challenge you: What's one small way you can honor the temple God gave you?

Not out of guilt. Out of gratitude. 🙏

Drop the name of your favorite in the comments if this shifted something for you. And share this with a sister who needs the reminder.

Why Eating Healthy Isn't Always Enough

You think you're doing everything right. You're watching what you eat, you're trying to be consistent, and yet, the scale won't budge and your clothes still feel tight.

I see this all the time. And most of the time it comes down to this: there's a gap between what we think is healthy and what works for our bodies.

Here's the truth:

✅ Healthy eating isn't one-size-fits-all. What works for your friend might not work for you, and that's not a failure, it's biology.

✅ Marketing is not nutrition science. "Low fat," "natural," "clean", these are labels, not guarantees. Learning to cut through the noise is a skill, not common sense.

✅ Consistency with the right approach beats perfection with the wrong one. If your plan is making you miserable, it's not a plan, it's punishment.

The goal isn't to eat perfectly. It's to eat in a way that's sustainable, nourishing, and that works for your body and your life.

That's exactly what we build together in Food Faith and Fellowship. No rigid rules. No banned foods. Just a smarter, more intentional relationship with eating. 💛

Save this and share it with a friend who needs a fresh perspective. And tell me below — what's the biggest nutrition myth you used to believe?
