Q: What is a neuromodulator?

A: Neuromodulators are purified proteins derived from botulinum toxin type A that help temporarily relax targeted facial muscles to soften fine lines and wrinkles while still maintaining natural expression. At The Fix Aesthetics + Wellness, we use BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport® to create smooth, refreshed, natural-looking results.

Q: How long do results last and when will I see them?

A: Dysport® may begin working within 2–3 days, while BOTOX® Cosmetic typically starts showing within 3–5 days, with full results around 10–14 days. Results generally last about 3–4 months depending on the individual and treatment area.

Q: Will my face look frozen or unnatural?

A: Not when administered properly. The goal is never to take away your expressions, but to soften muscle overactivity while keeping your results balanced, natural, and refreshed.
