Hi, I’m Kindra—the heart behind Dandelion Doulas.

Before I was a doula, I was simply a mom trying to navigate pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and military life. I know what it’s like to move away from your support system, start over in a new place, and wonder if you’re making the right decisions for yourself and your baby.

Birth work found me through my love of supporting mothers. What started with breastfeeding support grew into a passion for walking alongside families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Since then, I’ve had the honor of supporting countless military and civilian families as they welcome their little dandelions into the world.

I believe every family deserves to feel informed, supported, and empowered in their journey—no matter where they’re stationed or what kind of birth they’re planning.

Around here, you’ll find evidence-based education, compassionate support, and someone who will cheer you on every step of the way.

We especially love serving military-connected families because we know firsthand how challenging it can be to build a village when you’re constantly planting roots somewhere new. Like dandelions, military families learn to bloom wherever life takes them.

After sharing that the Army changed our moving plans and that I was accepting births again… two months filled almost immediately.

I truly don’t take it lightly that families continue to trust me to support them in such a sacred season of life.
So if you’ve been thinking about reaching out for your fall or winter due date, now would be a really good time ✨

Whether this is your first baby, your VBAC, your home birth, or your “I just need someone in my corner” birth — I’d love to support you if I have space available.

Wellllll… the Army had other plans 🤍

A few months ago I shared that we were anticipating a move, so I had closed my birth calendar and stopped taking due dates for the second half of the year.

But in true military fashion… plans changed.

We’ll actually be staying here until next fall, which means my birth calendar is officially back open ✨

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to continue serving families in this season — whether you’re planning to have your baby at the birth center, hospital or just wanting extra support as you prepare to welcome your baby.
