Dust storms are more than an inconvenience in El Paso. They can irritate the airways, trigger asthma symptoms, and make breathing harder for kids and adults alike. 🫁🌬️

On dusty days, simple steps can make a difference: check the air quality, stay indoors when possible, close windows early, use car recirculation, and keep asthma meds nearby.

And remember:
the storm may pass,
the air may stay dusty,
and the lungs may still react.

Save this for the next dusty day.

Asthma is more than the symptoms we can see. 🫁

This World Asthma Day, the 2026 theme reminds us that access to anti-inflammatory inhalers for everyone with asthma is still an urgent need.

Because asthma care is not only about having a prescription, it’s about being able to access, afford, understand, and continue treatment with the inhalers patients need.

Awareness matters. Access matters. Control matters.

Asthma may be part of the journey, but it is never the whole story. 🫁

This World Asthma Day, we celebrate the strength, courage, and resilience of every person living with asthma, especially the children and families who keep moving forward every day.

This year’s theme reminds us that access matters: everyone with asthma should have access to essential anti-inflammatory inhalers, because the right treatment, education, and support can help people breathe better and live fuller lives.

With the right care and support, asthma doesn’t have to stop play, growth, dreams, or daily life.

Every breath matters. 💙
