Thought this would be a fun little way to answer the question of “which deck is for me?” Of course it’s more nuanced depending on what people are looking for or moving through, and I’m here to answer more specific questions if you have any. I’ll try not to tell you “both” 😌

To cover the basics, my tarot deck (to the right) is The Shadows We Cast. And my affirmation deck (to the left) is called Remembering: Messages from the Wild Voice Within… it contains affirmations, messages, and prompts with artwork. I created them one after the other, when I was moving through my own dark night of the soul and then rebuilding after. I’d love to hear how you use the decks too as it’s so helpful to others.

Some of us have low or unpredictable energy, and then on top of that some of us also wrestle with perfectionism. The inner perfectionist believes there’s no point in doing things at half capacity - if we can’t give it our all, why even do it? And that’s where the magic and healing is… in deciding to do it anyway, because journaling is about showing up for yourself no matter how you feel or how much you have to give. It doesn’t have to look a certain way, just like life doesn’t always look the same and we don’t always feel the same. Sometimes we have the energy to make the pages we want, and sometimes we do what we can, and it’s all good (even the boring or ugly stuff). So if you need some low-effort journaling ideas, enjoy! In the little book version of Remembering: Messages from the Wild Voice Within, there are 8 additional pieces not featured in the deck 🍂 Aside from formatting and price, this is the biggest difference and one of the questions I’ve been getting from you. I decided to create a book version of this deck mostly to offer something accessible to more people. Even the most relatable, easy, intuitive decks can feel intimidating or too “out there” for some… but most everyone can connect with a book 🍁. And so I hope this little book puts this work into more hands and hearts who need it. Who need to remember themselves ❤️

Maybe you’re feeling funky because you’re carrying around something that isn’t true. A story that perhaps you were given long ago. Or maybe one that your inner critic created to protect you at some point. Or perhaps a story someone else has about you. It’s ok to let the story exist and remove yourself from it. It may not be in your control to change it, but you can let it go and come back to your truth… Even if you have to do it over and over until it sinks it. Journaling can be fun 🥰 I think as we get older it’s easy to forget that. Growing up doesn’t have to mean you lose your sense of playfulness, you just have to be more intentional about making space for it. Also guys I can’t stop looking at my poor red ears cause I just put these earrings in after a long earring break lol. Anyway happy journaling 😘
