I love what I do! I especially love all the cool people I get to talk to. Today I got to talk to one of my regular clients about the Outlander series finale! I don’t know anyone (that I’m aware of) in my personal life who watches that show and I LOVE that my client came in today and asked me what I thought about the last episode 😂.
My husband could not care less about Outlander and had to listen to me rant all weekend about it 😅.

This was not an easy decision. I understand that it not only affects my business, but also inconveniences many people in town. Ultimately, I'm looking out for my own safety and comfort. It's a shame because I really love what I do and wish it wasn't sexualized so often. I'm so sick of receiving these types of messages and I'm sure I still will, but at least I have this policy in place and can leave the nastiness to my inbox and not have to come face-to-face with it.

"Since working in Elberton over the past few months, I have received more messages hinting at sexual services than I have in my entire massage career of nearly 10 years. Unfortunately, I have decided to no longer accept male clients. This obviously does NOT apply to my existing clients who are great, and I will still happily see men who are referred to me by current clients or people I know.

I’ve been going back and forth on this idea for a while, but it ultimately comes down to a safety issue for me. I’ve had men book under fake names, refuse to fill out an intake form, and proposition me countless times “for the right price.” To be clear, I have never and will never cross that line. I’m very grateful for the clients I have, and they are truly some of the best and coolest people I’ve worked on in my career. I enjoy being part of the community and helping people out of pain.

If you are an existing client and would like to show your support, word-of-mouth is always the best and I rarely have anxiety when I schedule people that way! Thank you to everyone who has been respectful of me and what I do. It’s a frustrating situation to be in and is really unfortunate for the majority of men who I’m sure are perfectly normal and non-threatening. Thank you for reading ❤

Hi, everyone 👋🏼! My name is Malory Wright and I’ve been a licensed massage therapist since 2017. I started my massage career in New York State, in a medspa inside of mall being worked to absolute death, followed by two fancy spas, a hotel, and ultimately opening a space with my friends.

I moved back to California, where I’m from, and spent several years working in a acupuncture clinic where I continued ashiatsu (the barefoot thing) and did a ton of medical massage. Then, I went solo doing house calls for a few years before moving to Georgia, where I currently live and practice (thanks to my husband 🥰).

In the background of my massage therapy license, my love of exercise (specifically weight lifting) and human anatomy drove me to get my certification in personal training, working one-on-one with clients to help them get stronger and get out of pain.

I opened my very own space in Elberton, GA — a town where word-of-mouth means more than anything. I’ve been able to steadily build my business and meet so many new people. Moving to a small town can be hard, even though it’s also the best. It’s harder to meet people you align with and break into the community, but thankfully I feel that my life is pretty full and the few friends I have here are all I need.

I’m grateful to have a a space where I can continue doing what I love, because I LOVE what I do and it’s really rewarding work. Thank you to everyone who has supported me, liked my posts, shared my posts, given me reviews, and continued to schedule with me ❤️.

Ashiatsu! So many people have asked me what this bars are for. Well, 💁🏻‍♀️. Ashiatsu is great for giving deep pressure with a broader surface, so for those who get jumpy with an elbow, may I suggest trying a foot? 😅.
I’m often hesitant to post videos like these because they get fetishized and I DO NOT want those kinds of clients 🙅🏻‍♀️.
