🌿 Out of Office 🌿

Just a quick heads-up that the office will be closed August 30-September 11 while I take some time away to rest, recharge, and spend time with family. 💛

I’ll be back in the office Tuesday, September 15 and looking forward to seeing you!

Please be patient with me as I get back and work to return calls/ emails.

Thank you, as always, for your understanding and for trusting me to be part of your wellness journey. I can’t wait to reconnect when I’m back! ✨

I’m convinced I have more fun than any other healthcare professional!

Pelvic health isn’t just about leaking or bathroom habits, it’s about getting back to life.

This personal came in for their knee… along the way we fixed some back and hip things, and now it’s back to function!

While my humor isn’t for everyone, my skillset proved to be just the right thing. I watched posittioning and posture in the saddle, figured out what was going wrong, worked on exercises to correct it and cues to help while in the saddle 🐎 and it worked 🎉

Thank you for letting me have so much fun figuring out the pieces to the body’s puzzle❤️

What’s stopping you from getting back in the saddle?
What do you want to get back to?

A simple pool noodle might be the self-care tool you didn’t know you needed! 🌊

I was demonstrating this mobilization yesterday and it felt amazing which is how I knew my cycle was coming!

Gentle sacral mobilization can help calm tension and improve mobility in the tissues around your sacrum, making it a great option for:
✨ Low back pain
✨ Pelvic pain or tension
✨ Sacral or tailbone discomfort
✨ Those aches that tend to show up around your cycle

Discomfort may be common, but it doesn’t mean you have to just live with it. Small, gentle movements can make a big difference in helping your body feel supported and move more comfortably.

Save this video for later and let me know in the comments, do you notice more aches around your cycle? after sitting too long?

Sometimes you grab coffee with a colleague and end up talking for hours about the work you do and the people you get to serve. ☕💛

I recently had coffee with Sally from Dry Needling, and somewhere between chatting about life, motherhood and work, we both expressed how much we truly love what we do.

Physical therapy is so much more than exercises and treatment sessions. It’s celebrating the positive pregnancy test after years of trying, cheering someone on as they return to running without leaking, helping a new mom feel like herself again, and being trusted with stories that people may have never shared before.

The relationships built in this line of work are incredibly special. Being invited into such vulnerable seasons of life and walking alongside clients on their healing journey is something I never take for granted.

Leaving our conversation, my heart felt so full of gratitude—for this profession, for wonderful support in the community, and most of all, for each person who has trusted me with their care.

To all of my clients, past and present: thank you for allowing me to do work that fills my cup every single day. 💕

What is something about your work that makes your heart feel full?

✨ I’’ back in the clinic after some time away, feeling refreshed, recharged, and so excited to be back with all of you!

Vacation is wonderful, but there’s something special about getting back to helping you move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing the things you love. 💛

As I settle back in, I’d love to hear from YOU!

Blood sugar spikes and crashes after meals can leave you feeling tired, foggy, and craving sweets, are reaching for another coffee.

A simple thing that can make a big difference is going for a walk after you eat!

5 to 15 minutes of walking after a meal can help your muscles use glucose more efficiently, which may also help with digestion and support hormone health.

And no, you don’t need to power walk or do a full workout. A brisk walk around the block will do it!

small habits add up. Sometimes wellness looks less like doing more and more like using movement strategically.

you already walk after meals? Or is this something you wanna try? Let me know!
