🧠 Men’s Mental Health Month- encouraging openness, emotional wellness, and reminding men that seeking support is a sign of strength.

🌈 Pride Month - celebrating authenticity, identity, love, and the importance of spaces where all people feel seen, valued, and accepted.

✊🏾Juneteenth- honoring resilience, liberation, culture, and the continued journey toward love, equity, and freedom.

🧘🏾‍♀️International Yoga Day- recognizing the healing power of movement, breath, mindfulness, and reconnecting with ourselves.

At Haven, we believe true wellness flourishes when the mind is nurtured, the body is supported, and the soul is met with compassion.

Mental Health Awareness Month looked a little different for me this year.

Instead of posting about mental health, I intentionally lived it. 💜

From workouts and travel to family, friends, good food, and welcoming King Kane 🐾 to the family, I spent this month investing in the things that keep my mind, body, and soul well.

Because wellness isn’t just something we talk about-it’s something we practice every day. 🩵

Haven Mindfully Moving in May 💚

May invites us to reflect on the choices we make - how we show up for ourselves, and others.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, we are reminded that choosing to prioritize our well-being is an act of strength. Choosing rest. Choosing support. Choosing healing- mind, body, and soul.

As we honor Mother’s Day, we recognize the many forms of nurturing, love, and care-both given and received. And we hold space for the complexities this day may bring.

With Memorial Day, we pause in remembrance and gratitude for those who have sacrificed, honoring their lives with reflection and respect.

At Haven, we believe healing is found in the small, intentional choices we make each day-to be present, to be gentle with ourselves, and to continue growing.

This month, choose yourself.
Choose healing.
Choose to create space within your mind, body, and soul for the life you deserve.

✨Haven Update: Saturday Yoga 🧘🏾‍♀️ ✨

As part of honoring rest and alignment, Haven will be pausing Saturday, Mind Body Yoga classes for the months of May and June.

This intentional break allows space to rest, restore, and returned with renewed energy to continue supporting your healing journey.

🧘🏾‍♀️Classes will resume on Saturday, July 11 @ 10AM.

We are so grateful for your presence, your practice, and the community we continue to build together.

Until then, continue to move gently, breathe deeply, and care for your mind, body, and soul. 💜🤍🩵

April invites us into a deeper awareness-of ourselves and of others.

It is a time honor and bring light to Autism Awareness, Sexual Assault Awareness, and Child Abuse Awareness- reminding us of the importance of safety, compassion, and advocacy for all individuals and families.

It is also a season of renewal. Through Easter and World Health Day, we are reminded that healing is possible, that care matters, and that ending to our well-being- mind, body, and soul-is essential.

At Haven, we believe healing begins within.
Creating a mind that feels safe…

And a space where your story can be held with care.

✨Social Worker Month: LCSW Private Practice Addition ✨

OOTD (Outfit of the Day) as a therapist in private practice. 💜🤍🩵

One thing I love about this work is the balance – holding space for deep, meaningful conversations while also having the freedom to show up as myself… Style included.

Private practice allows room for authenticity, comfort, and a little personality, in what I wear while still doing the heart – centered work for supporting healing.

Because at the end of the day, being a Lcsw isn’t about the outfit – it’s about the connection, compassion, and care we bring into the room.

But it’s still fun to get dressed for the work we love.🥰☺️✨
