On World Hospice and Palliative Care Day, we're highlighting the important role hospice and palliative care play in helping patients and families navigate serious illness.

Both hospice and palliative care focus on comfort, quality of life and support, helping patients receive care that aligns with their goals and wishes. Palliative care can begin at diagnosis and alongside treatment. Hospice care is typically chosen when treatment is no longer working or a patient decides to stop curative treatment for a terminal illness, shifting the focus to comfort, quality of life and support for both the patient and their loved ones.

Celebrating CNA week is easy when you have the best team of CNA’s around 🫶🏻

Hospice CNAs are truly the heart of patient care. Their compassion and presence make an incredible difference not only for patients, but for their families during some of life’s most difficult moments.

They provide comfort, dignity, and support in ways that often go unseen — from helping with daily care needs to simply holding a hand, listening, and being a steady source of comfort. Their role goes far beyond caregiving.

Hospice wouldn’t be what it is without the hard work and love our CNAs give every single day. They deserve to be recognized and celebrated for the huge role they play in end-of-life care. Thank you to all our CNAs for the difference you make every day💚🤍💚

A vital part of hospice care is ensuring that nurses are available 24 hours a day. We are truly grateful to have a dedicated team of 40 nurses who make this possible. Our compassionate and caring nurses are always the first to answer the call, providing comfort and support to patients and their families when they need it most.
