Active Day of Elizabethtown is collecting dog and cat food donations to take to the Hardin County Animal Shelter during our upcoming community integration outing!
Our members love giving back to our local community, and we would be so grateful for your help in filling the shelter's pantry.

Come out and join us for the 25th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony for September 11th (Patriot Day, Friday). Located at the 9/11 memorial at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. The ceremony will start sharply at 8:15, so please arrive early.

A quarter of a century may have passed, but we will never forget the lives lost in the attacks that day, and the sacrifices of first responders and citizens who performed acts of heroism.

💜ALL INCLUSIVE BUNGEE NIGHT! 💜

Join us August 29th from 6-7PM or 7-8PM for a special bungee experience created for individuals with special abilities!

We want this to be a fun, welcoming, and encouraging night where everyone can come FLY, move, and have fun!

For safety, participants will need to be able to follow basic safety instructions, safely get into and out of the bungee harness, and participate independently or with minimal assistance.

We know every individual is different, so if you’re unsure whether bungee would be a safe fit for your loved one, please reach out to us before signing up! We are happy to discuss their needs.

💉 Protect Your Health (and Enjoy a Treat!) This Flu Season! 🍦
Active Day is excited to invite our participants, families, and community members to get their annual flu shot right here at our center!
We are proud to partner with Warnell Family Pharmacy, who will be on-site starting at 12:30 PM and staying until all wanted vaccines are given. To make it even sweeter, the pharmacy is giving out ice cream to everyone getting vaccinated!

ACTION REQUIRED: MPW & HCB WAIVER WAITLISTS

If you or a loved one is currently on the Michelle P. Waiver (MPW) or Home and Community Based (HCB) Waiver waitlist, watch the mail for an important letter from the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS).

Complete the Provider Attestation Form, have it signed by an approved provider, and mail it by January 31, 2027. Failure to submit the form by the deadline may result in removal from the waitlist.

Call DCBS at 855-306-8959 to make sure the mailing address on file is correct.

This requirement applies only to people on the waitlist. It does not affect current waiver recipients who are already receiving services.
