We are beyond proud to celebrate Ian Danis, PT, DPT, Clinic Director at PT Pros Lexington, who recently represented our team on the world stage at the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France! ๐
Qualifying for a World Championship requires earning a slot among the elite top tier of triathletes globally. The demanding 70.3-mile course took Ian from a 1.2-mile Mediterranean swim in the Baie des Anges, up a grueling 56-mile bike climb through the Maritime Alps with nearly 4,000 feet of elevation, to a punishing 13.1-mile half-marathon along the Promenade des Anglais.
As both an elite physical therapist and a dedicated athlete, Ian put his deep understanding of biomechanics, recovery, and human performance directly to work for his own body. Managing a thriving physical therapy clinic while training for an event of this caliber takes relentless discipline, and PT Pros was honored to sponsor his journey every step of the way! ๐
Hereโs the most important takeaway:
You donโt have to be a World Championship triathlete to deserve elite care. But, elite care starts with providers who practice what they preach. ๐โโ๏ธ๐ดโโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
Whether your goal is crossing the finish line of a 70.3-mile race, recovering from knee surgery, or simply playing catch with your grandkids, the movement experts at PT Pros treat every single patient with the same care and attention as a world-class athlete.
Join us in giving Ian a massive congratulations in the comments below! ๐๐
