My cycles were never good. Even as a young teen they were heavy, extremely painful, and would wipe me out energetically & mentally. Skin changes and bowel changes were real, immune system also tanked.

After having children, they got realllly long and extremely heavy for a couple of days. In total, it was about a 2 week process. Thankfully the pain subsided, but the other symptoms still hung around. As a teen, I was on multiple different birth controls for acne and PMS symptoms... different pills and patches.

Choosing to stop birth control all together felt scary. After working on my metabolic health, detoxing, and finding natural solutions that suppoort hormones (including melatonin production for deeper sleep), my cycles are literally the BEST they've ever been as I enter "perimenopause!!"

I am excited to share what I've been learning in hopes that it saves someone else decades of trying to figure out how to make it through each month, and so we can change the future for our daughters! I have been compiling notes and resources and will be breaking it all down in a private zoom on Sept 10th & 11th. Replay included. This is for ladies from teens to menopause! Share this with those you know could use it!

"Our heart doctor told us to take a tsp of this salt in water every day and we can tell it has really been helping us!" -Valued Customer

Real, mineral-rich salt can be a useful source of sodium and other minerals, which are important electrolytes your body needs to function properly. Sodium helps regulate fluid balance, supports nerve signaling, and allows muscles—including the heart muscle—to contract normally. Adequate sodium is therefore important for maintaining healthy cardiovascular function, especially when you’re losing electrolytes through sweating, exercise, heat, or illness.

Mineral salts (such as our Redmond Real Salt!) also contain naturally occurring trace minerals. Adding an appropriate amount of mineral-rich salt to a balanced diet can help replace sodium lost through sweat and support hydration.

For everyday hydration, think beyond just water: water + electrolytes + minerals work together to help your body maintain proper fluid balance, muscle function, nerve communication, and normal heart rhythm!

Hormones are chemical messengers that help regulate almost every major function in the body, including energy, metabolism, sleep, mood, blood sugar, growth, reproduction, and the stress response. Hormones like cortisol, insulin, thyroid hormones, estrogen, progesterone, and melatonin all work together to keep the body balanced. Because the endocrine system is so interconnected with the immune system and gut, parasites in one area can affect another.

Parasites mostly influence hormones when an infection causes ongoing inflammation, digestive problems, stress, or poor nutrient absorption. When the body detects an infection, it activates the immune system and stress response. This can increase activity in the HPA axis (the system connecting the brain and adrenal glands) which regulates cortisol. Prolonged illness or stress can then affect sleep, energy, appetite, blood sugar, and other hormone-related processes.

The gut is another important connection. Some parasitic infections can irritate the intestinal lining, alter digestion, or interfere with nutrient absorption. Since the body needs adequate nutrients to produce and properly regulate hormones, poor nutrition or absorption can contribute to changes in overall hormonal function. The gut also communicates constantly with the brain and immune system, so digestive health can have effects that extend well beyond the digestive tract.

A significant parasitic infection can place stress on the body and disrupt several systems at once. Supporting the basics (nutritious food, adequate protein and healthy fats, hydration, regular bowel movements, good sleep) helps create the foundation for healthy hormone function.

A local fireman came in recently asking for more Re-Lyte. His exact words, "That stuff is LEGIT!!" 💦⚡️

They have been doing intense training lately and he ran out, so he grabbed some gatorade at the convenient store. He said that his stamina was drastically different, and then proceeded to ask just how big of a bag can he get of Re-Lyte :)

Thank you to &ems for all you do for our town and the hard work you put in! Most of us have no idea the effort, sacrifice, and prep work that goes into what you guys do, but I hope today you feel appreciated for it all!
