The Bridge Food and Diaper Bank

The Bridge Food and Diaper Bank Please donate @ thebridgewalco.org to help us make sure no one goes hungry in Walworth County. As a bank we support 16 Walworth County pantries.

As a pantry, we supply food, diapers, incontinence products, and period supplies to Walworth County residents. With a group of Boy Scouts pulling their wagons, we opened as a food pantry on May 2nd, 2009. At present, as a food pantry, we serve around 500 households every month. As a food and diaper bank, we have a warehouse, supplementing almost a dozen pantries and places throughout Walworth Coun

ty with food and milk, in the collaborative fight to end food insecurity. We are the only diaper bank in Walworth County, offering diapers, period supplies, and incontinence products. With more than 100 volunteers, we are neighbors helping neighbors.

Week after week, Bridge Volunteers transform what used to be a small medical office waiting area into a bright, colorful Fresh Market filled with fresh, nutritious fruits and vegetables.

What was once an ordinary space is now a place filled with dignity, choice, and healthy options for our guests—and it’s a favorite stop at The Bridge.

This impact is made possible through the generous support of the Nicholas D. Sergi Foundation, and we are deeply grateful for their continued partnership.

And as always, none of it would happen without our incredible volunteers who show up, sort, stock, and serve with heart every week. ❤️

📦 KUNES BOXES ARE BACK! 📦

Once again, The Bridge is the grateful recipient of 20+ pallets of Kunes Boxes through the Trade In Hunger initiative!

Across 54 Kunes Auto and RV Group dealerships, teams are packing meal kits to help families facing food insecurity throughout the Midwest. Each box contains staple food items that help stock our shelves and support the 19 partner organizations we serve throughout Walworth County.

Of course, those pallets don't unload themselves! Every box is moved, sorted, stored, and distributed by our amazing volunteers. Their hard work ensures this food reaches the neighbors who need it most.

A special thank you to Jen Myers, Chief Marketing Officer at Kunes Auto & RV Group, and Adam Andre, Pack Hope Vice President, for coordinating this incredible effort.

This is what happens when a community comes together to serve others. ❤️

Steve, Carl, and John from The Bridge, Jack from Big Foot Food Pantry, and Linette from East Troy Food Pantry were all on deck this morning — waiting together for the semi‑truck delivery of TEFAP supplies from Second Harvest.

These shared deliveries are a powerful reminder of what happens when local pantries work side‑by‑side to support our neighbors. From unloading pallets to stocking shelves, this team effort helps ensure families across Walworth County have access to nutritious food when they need it most.

TEFAP = The Emergency Food Assistance Program — a vital resource that strengthens our entire hunger‑relief network.

Grateful for the teamwork. Grateful for the partnership. Grateful for this community. 💛

A heartfelt thank‑you to our friends at Conagra Brands in Darien for hosting an incredible food and diaper drive in support of The Bridge!

Across five shifts, their 770 employees came together in true community spirit — donating an amazing 428 pounds of food and diapers to help local families in need.

This is what compassion in action looks like. This is neighbors helping neighbors. And this is the kind of partnership that strengthens our entire community.

To everyone at Conagra: thank you for showing up, giving generously, and making a real difference for families across Walworth County. 💛

🌟 Cheering On Our Lakeland School Athletes!

We love any chance to celebrate our community — and this one is extra special.

On Wednesday, June 3rd at 2:10 p.m., Lakeland School’s Special Olympics athletes will receive an escorted send‑off through Elkhorn, thanks to the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office. Their route will take them from Lakeland School down County Road NN, onto Wisconsin St., and around the square as they head to the Olympic Games in Whitewater, WI.

We’d love to see our supporters line the sidewalks, clap, cheer, and lift these incredible athletes up. Bring a sign, bring your voice, bring your joy — let’s make sure they feel the love from the entire community.

These students have worked hard, pushed themselves, and shown what true determination looks like. Let’s honor them the way they deserve.

Go Lakeland athletes — your community is behind you all the way!
Here is a short video from last year.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
