Our Institute's Cognitive-Motor Learning Laboratory, led by Dr. Aaron Wong, has an opening for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow interested in the intersection of cognition and motor neuroscience.

This role involves research to understand how people learn and plan complex, real-world behaviors. The successful applicant will use behavioral testing and neuroimaging methods to investigate how people monitor their performance during skilled tool-use actions, and how this error awareness is disrupted following stroke.

Identifying and managing noxious conditions is important in this population, and the Brain Injury Nociception Assessment Measure (BINAM) is an observation-based tool for measuring nocioception in unconscious or conscious patients with or without agitation.
