“Tools for caregivers” course available in Cecil County

Cecil County Department of Community Services is offering Powerful Tools for Caregivers, a six-week class series designed to give family caregivers the tools, confidence, and support they need while caring for a loved one.

Classes will be held every Friday from September 18 through October 23, 2026, from 2:30–4:00 p.m. at the Elkton Senior Activity Center, 200 Chesapeake Blvd., Elkton.

Participants will learn strategies to reduce stress, improve self-confidence, manage time, communicate more effectively, make tough decisions, and locate helpful resources.
