Bodywork is beneficial for horses of ALL ages!
💡Did you know young horses need bodywork too? 💡This 2 year old has come a long way, we started off slow, and every session is horse-led. Less is more! She had such good releases and is understanding each session how good bodywork feels!

Bodywork can build trust by using gentle human touch and can also help with balance while they are still developing. It also improves coordination and body awareness. We can identify (not diagnose) potential issues and recognize their patterns as they grow and develop. Preventing longterm issues!

Look at this wonderful pandiculation response we captured during this horse's session! 😄

Pandiculations are natural, self-stretching responses that may occur during bodywork sessions, and every horse responds differently! We create a safe space where the horse can respond and express themselves freely.

This allows the nervous system to process changes and adapt in a positive, regulated way. It also engages the brain + central nervous system, helping to reset muscle patterns and restore optimal function. In addition, it increases bloodflow and oxygen delivery throughout the body, supporting the horse’s natural healing and recovery processes!

Over time, this can also help release chronic or long-term tension, improve posture, correct uneven or crooked movement, leading to a more balanced and comfortable way of moving.
