October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, and today, on Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, we pause to remember the precious babies gone too soon. 🪽🤍
Pregnancy loss is deeply personal to our family. With children and grandchildren waiting for us in Heaven, we understand the heartbreak that comes with this kind of loss.
Eight years ago, when the Godina family lost their son, Angel, we had the honor of coming alongside them. Together, we co-founded Under Angel’s Wing. Under Angel's Wing is a nonprofit organization dedicated to easing the financial pressures, by covering third party expenses, that are outside of the control of the funeral home.
At Brookside, we are honored to be known in each of the communities we serve as the funeral home that cares for families experiencing the loss of a baby at no cost to them. We believe every family deserves compassionate care and support as they navigate the unimaginable heartbreak of saying goodbye to their little one.
Today, we want to turn remembrance into action. For every share of this post, Brookside will donate $5 to Under Angel’s Wing, up to 250 shares, helping to continue supporting families when they need it most. 🤍
Today, we remember the babies gone too soon, hold space for the parents who carry this grief, and lift up every family navigating the heartbreak of pregnancy and infant loss.
