in Studio Art (with honors) from Goucher College in 2011. Started tattooing in 2013
I'm a custom artist and tattoo peices large and small, in a variety of styles including illustrative color, painterly, black and grey, geometric linework and watercolor, amoung others. I'm a complete nerd and will happily geek out with you about numerious subjects, such as scifi, fantasty, history, nature, mythology and science. I love the outdoors in general, and hiking in particular.

I had a wonderful time as always at flash event! Thank you to everyone who came out and got a woodland tattoo from me! No one wants to know what I could get up to if I am left to my own devices!

A full day session had to reschedule- so I have some time and designs available! I have room for either a large scale tattoo or a couple of smaller ones.

Please comment or DM if interested, and let me know which design you are looking to get, and we'll go from there!

Unfortunately I will not have time to draw a custom peice for this opening. Most of the available designs have the option of color or black and grey shading.

Hello Fall! While tattooing this I got to revel in all of the glorious color and detail that the changing of the seasons brings to leaves. Thinking about that time of year to celebrate transitions, gather our strength for the oncoming dark, and (for me at least) enjoy the season where I'm not constantly damp with sweat.

Oh and there's an inch and a half tall kanji covered up in there too. Just tucked in under some leaves, nice and snug.

Huginn and Muninn, Odin's ravens representing Thought and Memory, they remind us to keep our minds open, and to remember the past. As the nights get longer I feel like it's a good time to start reflecting on the year so far and what's come.

Do you have any new concepts or interests that have been on your mind lately? Or do you have particular memories or stories that you've been focusing on keeping alive or relevant?

For me recently it's been an interest in the ethics of human specimen collection and display, which was peaked by my current reading of Dark Archives (a book about books bound in human skin).

And my memories have a lot to do with the passing of my last grandparent last year, and me feeling drawn to find habits and small remembrances of them to include in my everyday life.

Behold the lovely, striking, haunting, weeping, Haserot Angel. This angel is one of my favorite cemetery statues. Officially named "Angel of Death Victorious" she is a wonderful example of how the natural aging of a medium (in this case bronze) can play an important role in a piece of art. One day I would love to visit this client's hometown of Cleveland to see this statue in person.
