So, it has been a week since I quit taking the hormones from Hone, I had to stop taking them before getting updated bloodwork Saturday.

I have not went back on them... Since Wednesday last week (6/10) I am down 5 #! I started peptides Friday, carnivore Sunday, and trying to up my water intake as well as keeping my training routine 6 days a week.

Monday Wednesday and Friday Chris and I workout full body or body specific areas. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays are typically Jiu Jitsu Training days. Sunday is rest day unless we go to GA GB Headquarters for their open mat.

We stay active and busy because even when we are not working out we are not sedentary. That is why I was having a hard time understanding WHY my weight was climbing as fast as it was...

New scan this morning (5 days later) weight -5, body fat down, Body Fat is - 4.8, Muscle mass - .4.

We are still waiting on blood work results but the scale is going in the right direction now!

Just know you are not alone in the fight against your own body and hormones.

I am currently 18 pounds up in 4 months. For those who personally know me, I train hard and often. I have worked extremely hard to lose weight in the past 13 years. I was finally comfortable in my skin, then something happened... I do not know what... but I am in the process of trying to figure it out.

I scanned on my InBody scanner this morning so I have an updated scan to see where the weight is going and my basal metabolic rate and all the things. I go in the morning for updated bloodwork.

I plan on starting Carnivore diet Monday. According to my holistic health practitioner course, that is the best way to do a full body reset and cleanse the body.

I wanted to share my journey this year...

I was. doing great, maintaining my weight, staying strong then 2026 came along and my weight started climbing. I gained 15lbs in 8 weeks. I was eating clean, I was training in the gym hard and continuing on my jiu jitsu journey.

I was beside myself. I could not understand why I was working so hard to be the best version of myself I could be and my body seemed out of control.

I saw an advertisement for Hone. Since I personally have no health insurance, I thought this may help me get some answers. I went and got my labs done and found out my Estrogen, Progesterone and Testosterone were non existent. My Thyroid T3 was low but there.

My Hone Dr. was very knowledgeable and helpful, I started my treatment plan and the brain fog has gotten better, my fatigue and constant tiredness is going away. I am hoping my weight will go back where it belongs soon!
