Arnot Ogden Medical Center will hold a planned Mass Casualty Incident drill on Saturday, September 12, from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. The drill will take place within the hospital’s ambulance bay, near the Emergency Department. The drill will test how the hospital responds to an emergency involving many patients at the same time. People near the hospital may see ambulances, simulated patients being moved by wheelchairs or stretchers and participants wearing protective suits and traffic vests. There is no real emergency or danger to patients, visitors or the community. The Emergency Department and its main entrance will remain open during the drill.

Due to storm damage from last night, Arnot Health is currently experiencing an interruption affecting incoming external phone calls to our hospitals and outpatient facilities.

All Arnot Health hospitals and outpatient locations remain open and are operating as normal at this time.

Congratulations to Andrea Ogunwumi, CEO of the Economic Opportunity Program (EOP) of Chemung and Schuyler Counties and a member of the Centralus Health and Arnot Health Boards of Directors, on being recognized with New York's 23rd Congressional District America 250 Community Heroes Award. Andrea was honored during a special ceremony at the Clemens Center in Elmira for her exceptional leadership and service to the Southern Tier.

Throughout her career, Andrea has championed initiatives that improve the health and well-being of individuals and families across the region. She has also played a key role in advancing collaborative healthcare solutions, including programs that provide health screenings, nutrition education, and preventive services to underserved populations.
