We want to thank everyone that attended our Brushstrokes in Blue Fundraiser last Friday at the Elmira Country Club. We not only want to thank you for attending but we want to thank you for supporting Able2 and its mission by participating in our raffle, wine pull, and Art Sale that was curated with special pieces created by people that Able2 supports.
A special thank you to the Direct Support Professionals and Individuals we support at Westlake that attended, as they were honored for their outstanding artistry, with a Legislative Proclamation, presented by New York State Senator Tom O'Mara's office, signed by his office, Assemblyman Christopher S. Friend and Assemblyman Phil Palmesano. Thank you to Sara Lattin, Senator O'Mara's Chief of Staff, for presenting the proclamation prior to the delicious dinner we enjoyed while listening to the smooth music from the CH Jazz Quintet.
We thank our raffle, wine & spirit donors, our event Sponsors and Donors, our event committee and volunteers, the Elmira Country Club staff and everyone who participated, supported and made last Friday evening a fundraising success.
Thank you for believing in the work Able2 does. Such a successful event allows us to continue our work, supporting people with developmental disabilities by creating opportunities for them to live their best life and be contributors to the community.
