Today, I was honored to travel to Albany with Rita McCabe and Robert Nelson, who were recognized by Greg Olsen, Acting Director of New York State Office for the Aging, for their outstanding dedication to improving lives in Chemung County through volunteerism. We celebrated a remarkable group of over 100 older adults who volunteer their time and energy to make a difference in communities statewide. I offer my congratulations to Robert and Rita on this prestigious recognition, celebrating their selfless contributions.

May 21, 2026 was Hat Day at Able2! 🎩🧢👒

Everyone was invited to wear any type of hat they wanted, a baseball hat, straw hat, cowboy hat, bonnet, fedora, beret etc.

Staff came out in style and showed off their favorite kinds of hats. Baseball hats seemed to be the crowd's favorite!
