I know it’s been awhile but some personal thing happened in my life so I have not totally gotten my website completed yet.

I’m gearing up for cold & flu season. I am making up Winter Kits that include: Tin Man Salve, for aches and pains of muscles, bones, ligaments, and joints; Cold & Flu Herbal Tea and Tincture Blend; colored and flavored Tallow Lickable Lips, for chapped lips; Breath Easy V***r Rub, to apply on bottoms of feet, chest, and under nose for coughs, congestion, and stuffiness; and Throat Care Tea & Tincture Blend for scratchy, sore, or raspy throat.

I will post pictures once I have them all packaged and ready to put in my store.

I have been working on the formulating a recipe for a great shampoo bar and I finally got it. It cleans hair squeeky clean and rinses out easily. I will post pictures after I have completed the packaging. Next project: formulating a recipe for a conditioner bar.

UPDATE: I am still working on a conditioner that I am totally happy with.

Well I finished with my laundry soap. I think I’m gonna call it just Simply Soap that can be used for washing of multiple things. I did a couple loads of laundry with it and I paired it with just a white vinegar softener. Oh my gosh, I couldn’t be happier about the way that my clothes turned out! No sick overpowering perfume smell, no feeling like there was some kind of detergent left in it, just a nice clean scent (even though there are no added scents or fragrances, although I could have). They came out of the dryer, nice and soft, and clean and comfortable with just a faint hint of a clean scent. When I was getting ready to do dishes and the Simply Soap was sitting in the bucket on the floor, waiting for me to figure out how to bottle and create labels for it. I decided to just do some dishes with it. Again, I was delightfully surprised! It cut through grease fantastically, my dishes came out squeaky clean, my glassware sparkle like no time since I was a child living at my mother‘s house. So I have decided it to be a laundry soap & a dish soap.

I have been making my own laundry soap, on and off, for many years. I have been trying to perfect my recipe and recently have been doing a lot of research. After all that I am not really changing my recipe, per se, but rather adding ingredients to it. Plus I finally came up with a recipe for a great stain remover. I need to let them set over night to finish the process Tomorrow I will label and package them and add both to my store. Now to create a recipe for a fabric softener.
