We are proud to celebrate three outstanding Aviata Health Group team members who have been recognized by Florida Health Care Association as recipients of their 2026 Scholarship Program—an investment in the future of long-term care professionals across Florida.

🏆 Sharawn Bradley, CNA, Aviata at San Jose - $2,500 Career Climb Scholarship
🏆 Alonzia "Lonzi" Burrell, Medical Records, Aviata at The Sea – Pompano Beach - $2,500 Career Climb Scholarship

This year, FHCA awarded $300,000 in scholarships to 88 long term care professionals across Florida, supporting caregivers and team members as they pursue advanced nursing education, professional certifications, and career development opportunities. These scholarships reflect a shared commitment to strengthening the future of long-term care through continued learning and leadership.

For nearly 40 years, Betty has dedicated her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant, providing compassionate, exceptional care to those who need it most. Originally from Iowa, she chose a career in long-term care because of her genuine desire to serve others—a calling that became even more personal as she lovingly cared for her father during his battle with cancer.

Today, Betty continues that same level of compassion and dedication with every resident she serves at Aviata at Englewood. Her kindness, patience, and commitment have earned the admiration of both residents and their families, who never hesitate to share their appreciation for the outstanding care she provides.

What do you get when you combine a delicious BBQ with Tacky Tourist Day? A whole lot of laughter, team spirit, and unforgettable memories!

Our CNA team enjoyed great food, fun outfits, and plenty of smiles as we continued celebrating National Nursing Assistant Week. From Hawaiian shirts and sunglasses to tropical hats and vacation vibes, everyone embraced the theme and had a fantastic time.
