We posted last week announcing a sale called “The last flash sale” and we have had quite a few clients and friends reaching out asking what we meant by “the last” ? Is it the last of the year ? Last one ever ? Are you closing ?
This last flash sale will be our last flash sale at the Electric crayon,
yes the last one ever!
We are not closing the shop.
I have been in the industry for 20+ years and a lot of things have changed since the beginning. I have always felt if you don’t accept change, you wont have progress and If you don’t change, you will be left behind.
One of the biggest changes is the use of social media. We have came to realize 98% of our business is generated from social media and referrals and with only 2% of our business bring walk ins we can do the same amount of tattoos no matter where we are. Which is why we have decided to move to a private studio and do everything by appointment only. By making this move we will cut our overhead cost to operate by 75% and be able pass this saving on to our customers by offering the same quality, sterile and professional tattoos but at a more affordable price.
We are still operating out of the Broadway location while our new spot is being set up. We appreciate all the love and support we have received over the years and look forward to being your favorite spot to come get tattooed. Even though this may be the last time you will see us at a flash sale we do hope to to see you for your next tattoo at our new location.
