Transformation Thursday - What if you don't need the answer yet?

One of the hardest parts of transition is not knowing.

We want the plan.

The answer.

The next five steps.

The reassurance that everything is going to work out.

Sometimes, the most important season of transformation is the one where you don't know yet.

You're no longer exactly where you were.

But you're not fully where you're going either.

And that space can feel incredibly uncomfortable.

So we rush to fill it.

We make decisions simply to end the uncertainty.

We cling to relationships, identities, habits, jobs, expectations—even when they no longer fit—because at least they're familiar.

But what if the in-between isn't a problem to solve?

What if it's a space to listen?

To notice.

To question.

To imagine.

To become curious about what might be possible.

Think about the very beginning of a butterfly's transformation.

From the outside, an egg doesn't look like much is happening.

But potential is already there.

Something is forming.

Something is preparing.

There are seasons in our own lives when transformation is happening long before it becomes visible.

So, if you're in an uncertain season right now, perhaps you don't need to have all the answers.

Perhaps your work right now is simply to become quiet enough to hear the next question.

What is this season asking me to become?

Not what should I do.

Not how do I get out of this.

But...

Who am I becoming?

That's where transformation gets interesting.

Wellness Wednesday - Your body knows you're in transition

We talk about transitions as though they're purely mental.

"I just need to figure out what I'm going to do."

But your body is participating in the transition, too.

Change, even positive change, can create stress.

A new job.

A relationship ending.

A relationship beginning.

A child graduating.

A wedding.

A move.

A new business direction.

A new identity.

Even exciting things can ask your nervous system to adjust.

You may notice:

• Changes in sleep
• Muscle tension
• Digestive changes
• Fatigue
• Restlessness
• Difficulty concentrating
• Feeling emotionally "on edge"
• A need for more rest than usual

This doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong with you.

Sometimes, your body is simply saying:

"A lot is changing. I need support while we adjust."

This is one reason I believe wellness has to be approached as a whole.

Your thoughts matter.

Your physiology matters.

Your emotional state matters.

Your spiritual connection matters.

You don't master a transition by thinking your way through it alone.

Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do is slow down enough to let your body catch up with the life you're creating.

Hydrate.

Breathe.

Move.

Rest.

Spend time outside.

Create moments of quiet.

And listen.

Your body may be giving you feedback your mind hasn't quite put into words yet.

I feel so drawn to share this month about something I'm seeing with many clients and experiencing myself. Throughout September, follow along as we learn together about Mastering Transitions. Perhaps it's fitting that it hasn't started off as masterfully as I intended since my 4am Monday return home from a seminar in TX was a more tiring transition than anticipated. Nevertheless, let's jump right in.

Sometimes, the first sign of a transition isn't a decision. It's a feeling. A restlessness you can't quite explain. It's a sense that something that once fit... doesn't anymore. A growing desire for something different.

A realization that the way you've always done things isn't necessarily the way you want to continue doing them.

And sometimes, nothing is actually "wrong." You're simply changing.

The invitation isn't necessarily to DO something about it immediately.

First, notice.

Ask yourself:

What in my life feels like it is changing?

What am I beginning to want that I didn't want before?

What no longer feels aligned with who I'm becoming?

Awareness is often the first movement toward transformation.

You don't have to have every phase figured out. You may simply need to acknowledge that you're standing at the beginning of something different.

Sometimes, we mistake unfamiliarity for a warning sign. Growth is often uncomfortable precisely because it is unfamiliar.

There is a difference between:

"This isn't right for me."

and

"This isn't familiar to me."

Learning to tell the difference is a powerful part of mastering transitions.

Sometimes discomfort isn't telling you to stop. Sometimes, it's telling you you're becoming someone new, which often requires us to tolerate a little uncertainty while we discover who that person is.

Feel Good Friday - Don't Underestimate the Power of Appreciation

Here's your Feel Good Friday challenge:

Make someone feel seen today.

Not because they accomplished something. Not because they did something for you. Just because they're important to you.

Tell your child:

"I love watching you become who you're becoming."

Tell your spouse:

"I appreciate the way you show up for our family."

Tell a friend:

"I'm really grateful for our friendship."

Tell a coworker:

"You make this place better."

Or tell yourself:

"I'm proud of the person I'm becoming."

We sometimes wait for the big moments to celebrate people.

Graduations.

Birthdays.

Promotions.

Anniversaries.

But some of the most meaningful moments happen in the ordinary afternoons when somebody simply needs to know:

"I see you."

So let's spread a little of that around today. ❤️

Your Feel Good Friday challenge:

Send one unexpected message of appreciation before the end of the day.

Then come back and share how it felt.

And if someone reading this is struggling with a relationship right now, remember:

You don't necessarily have to figure everything out today.

Sometimes the first step is simply becoming willing to reconnect.

If you'd like some support navigating a relationship, communication pattern, or boundary that has become difficult, send me PEACE.

I'd love to talk with you.

Transformation Thursday - What If You Changed the Conversation?

One of the most powerful transformations I've witnessed isn't when someone changes another person.

It's when they realize: "I can change how I show up."

You can't control how someone else communicates.

You can't make someone understand you.

You can't force someone to apologize.

You can't make someone choose differently.

But you can choose:

How you respond.

What you tolerate.

What you communicate.

What boundaries you establish.

What assumptions you make.

What you bring into the conversation.

And sometimes one person's willingness to change the pattern creates an entirely different relationship dynamic.

That doesn't mean taking responsibility for someone else's behavior.

It means taking responsibility for your part.

That's empowerment.

And that's where transformation begins.

So before your next difficult conversation, try asking yourself three questions:

1. What am I feeling?

2. What do I actually need?

3. What outcome am I hoping to create?

Then speak from there.

Not from anger.

Not from fear.

Not from the need to be right.

From intention.

What's one relationship where you'd love to create a different pattern?

You don't have to share details.

Just comment "I'm ready" if you're ready to do something differently.

And if you'd like someone to help you work through the pattern without judgment, send me CHANGE.

That's exactly the kind of work we can do together through coaching.

Wellness Wednesday - Your Relationships Are Part of Your Wellness

When we think about wellness, we usually think about:

🥗 Nutrition
💧 Water
🏃 Exercise
💤 Sleep
🌿 Supplements
🧘 Stress management

But there's another piece we can't afford to overlook:

Our relationships.

The quality of our relationships can influence how supported, safe, connected, and resilient we feel.

That's why holistic wellness isn't just about what you put into your body.

It's also about:

Who you spend time with.

What conversations you're having.

Whether you feel heard.

Whether you have people you can lean on.

Whether you're constantly giving without receiving.

Whether you feel like you can be fully yourself.

And sometimes wellness means taking a closer look at the relationships in your life and asking: "Does this relationship nourish me, drain me, or do a little of both?"

That's not about labeling people as "good" or "bad."

It's about becoming aware.

Awareness gives you choices.

Quick check-in: Who makes you feel more like yourself?

Tag them if you want to let them know. ❤️

And if you're realizing that one of your relationships is affecting your peace, confidence, or ability to move forward, send me BALANCE.

Let's talk about it.

Real Talk Tuesday - Sometimes It's Not a Communication Problem

Real Talk Tuesday...

Sometimes we say: "We just don't communicate well."

But what if the problem isn't communication?

What if it's disconnection?

Because when we're stressed, overwhelmed, exhausted, or feeling unheard, even a simple conversation can become a battle.

We listen to respond instead of listening to understand.

We assume we know what the other person means.

We defend ourselves before they've finished speaking.

We bring yesterday's argument into today's conversation.

We stop being curious.

And eventually, two people can live under the same roof and feel miles apart.

💔 That's a painful place to be.

But here's the hopeful part: Disconnection can be repaired.

Sometimes it starts with one person deciding to stop trying to "win" the conversation and start trying to understand the person.

Try this today:

Instead of saying... "You never listen to me."

Try: "I really want you to understand what I'm trying to say. Can we slow down and talk about this?"

That's a very different doorway into a conversation.

Which is harder for you?

👂 Listening without interrupting
🗣️ Saying what you really mean
❤️ Staying calm when you're triggered
🤔 Understanding someone you disagree with

Tell me below.

And if communication problems are creating tension in your relationship, family, or workplace, send me TALK.

Sometimes having someone help you see the pattern from the outside can change everything.

Mindset Monday - Connection Doesn't Happen by Accident

As life gets busier, it's easy to assume that the people we love will simply "know" how we feel.

They'll know we appreciate them.

They'll know we're proud of them.

They'll know we care.

They'll know we're there.

But here's the thing... People can't always feel what we don't express.

Connection requires intention.

Sometimes it's a five-minute conversation without your phone.

Sometimes it's asking a better question.

Sometimes it's putting down what you're doing and making eye contact.

Sometimes it's saying:

"I'm really glad you're here."

As school starts and everyone's schedules get busier, don't let your relationships become another thing you simply manage.

Make room to experience them.

Who is one person you'd love to feel more connected to right now?

You don't have to tag them.

Just think of them.

And then maybe send them a text today. You never know what that little message might mean to them.

And if you're struggling with relationships, communication, boundaries, or simply figuring out how to reconnect with someone you love, send me CONNECTION.

I'd love to help you explore what's really happening beneath the surface.

Feel Good Friday - What If You Celebrated Yourself Today?

Before you rush into the weekend...

Stop for a second.

Think about everything you've navigated this week.

Maybe it wasn't perfect.

Maybe you didn't accomplish everything on your list.

Maybe you lost your patience.

Maybe you ate something you didn't plan to eat.

Maybe you didn't exercise.

Maybe you didn't get enough sleep.

And you're still here.

So today, instead of asking: "What did I do wrong?"

Try asking: "What did I do well?"

Maybe you showed up when it was hard.

Maybe you finally set a boundary.

Maybe you asked for help.

Maybe you got outside.

Maybe you laughed.

Maybe you rested.

Maybe you simply kept going.

Those things count.

You don't have to earn the right to feel proud of yourself.

And you don't have to wait until you reach some future version of yourself to celebrate the person you are today. ❤️

Tell me ONE thing you're proud of yourself for this week.

Big or tiny.

No judgment.

Let's fill the comments with wins and remind each other that progress deserves to be celebrated.

And if you're reading this thinking, "Honestly, I can't even remember the last time I felt proud of myself," please reach out.

Send me HOPE.

You don't have to figure everything out by yourself.

Sometimes the first step toward reconnecting with yourself is simply letting someone walk beside you.

Transformation Thursday - What If You Stopped Trying to Fix Yourself?

This might sound strange coming from someone who coaches people through transformation...

But what if you don't need to fix yourself?

What if there's nothing fundamentally wrong with you?

What if the work is less about becoming someone new... and more about reconnecting with the person you've always been underneath the expectations, fear, criticism, exhaustion, and stories you've accumulated along the way?

The confident you.

The playful you.

The curious you.

The creative you.

The hopeful you.

The you who knows what you want.

The you who trusts yourself.

Sometimes transformation isn't about adding more.

Sometimes it's about letting go of what isn't you anymore.

That's why I love coaching.

Because I don't believe my job is to tell you who to become.

I believe it's about helping you uncover what's already there, and creating enough awareness, belief, and courage to live from it.

What part of yourself would you love to reconnect with?

Your confidence?

Your joy?

Your energy?

Your purpose?

Your voice?

Your peace?

Share in the comments.

And if you know you're ready to stop fighting yourself and start understanding yourself, send me DISCOVER.

Let's talk.
