🚨🚨PERSONAL POST🚨🚨

A few weeks ago, we held a cardiovascular screening event in my hometown. My dad came in that day simply to support us and our small business. He wasn’t expecting anything to be wrong.

During his scan, I found the most severe carotid artery blockage I have seen in my entire 20-year career.

As a daughter, it was terrifying. As a sonographer, I knew exactly what we were looking at.

Thankfully, we found it before it caused a devastating stroke. He is now getting the care he needs from an incredible team of vascular surgeons, and because it was caught early, he has options.

This screening very likely saved my dad’s life.

Please encourage the people you love to get screened. We truly hope we never find anything serious on anyone — but when we do, finding it early can make all the difference. Prevention and early detection matter more than most people realize.
