Sweet Baby Sleep Consultant I am a Certified Baby and Child Sleep Consultant working with newborns- 4 years of age. Hello! I am Mommy to a 4 year old little boy.

Throughout my journey of being a first time Mom, I struggled with getting my son to sleep the proper amount that his body needed. After several hours of research and trial and error, I have discovered my passion for infant and toddler sleep. I have learned how important healthy and restorative sleep is and essential in mental and physical development in babies and toddlers and want to help other

parents and families get their children the necessary sleep they need to grow. I offer a variety of services and also trained and educated in Hands on Sleep Training and Cry-Based Sleep Training.

Let’s be crystal clear: unsafe sleep kills babies.

Every. Single. Year. Thousands of infants die because someone decided their baby “looked cozier” with a blanket, a pillow, or curled up in an adult bed.

Newsflash: your baby doesn’t care about “cozy.” They care about breathing.

A firm, flat, empty sleep surface isn’t a suggestion—it’s the only evidence-based way to reduce the risk of unsafe sleep… suffocation, asphyxiation, rebreathing, overlay, wedging, falls, and SIDS.

Choosing what feels right to you over what we know is safe isn’t “parenting intuition.” It’s reckless.

This isn’t about comfort. It’s about survival. Comfort won’t bring a baby back.

Safe Sleep is ALWAYS our Number 1 Priority

There isn’t enough education and awareness surrounding safe sleep. Remember the ABC’s of safe sleep:

A- ALONE (nothing but a standard infant crib mattress, fitted sheet, baby in tight fitting pj’s, swaddle or sleepsack)

B- BACK (always place baby into their safe sleep space on their backs for every single sleep)

C- CRIB (always ensure baby is in their own safe sleep space)

Toddler Clocks are great for ages 18 months+

1. Choose a clock that is simple and easy for your toddler to understand. No need for all the bells and whistles.

2. Explain how the clock works and the “rules”. Lots of practice with positive praise.

3. Add toddler clock into bedtime routine.

4. Keep your toddler clock out of reach for safety reasons and prevent them from turning it off or changing a setting.

5. Realistic goals and expectations. Start with small and obtainable goals and then progressing to long term goals.

6. Stay consistent! Change doesn’t always happen overnight or immediate results!

7. LOTS OF POSITIVE PRAISE AND COMMUNICATION! Toddlers love to the attention and making their parents proud!

Bedtime Routines are so powerful and important for babies-adults. However, toddlers respond well to a consistent bedtime routine with visuals of what is expected of them.

Creating a bedtime poster, sheet, etc helps to give them a tangible understanding of what is to come next and also give them a sense of control of knowing what is expected and able to communicate their needs and receive positive reinforcement.

Your bedtime routine doesn’t have to be complicated, creative or fancy. It just have to be a consistent process that gives your toddler’s body a chance to transition to bedtime.
