Last week, the LECOM Medical Center Emergency Department team participated in Decontamination Training and are ready to care for patients exposed to chemicals! The team learned how to safely gear up in personal protection equipment (PPE) and how to decontaminate a patient and manage medical concerns.

It’s EMS Recognition Day!

LECOM Medical Center and US Acute Care Solutions invite all EMS agencies and crews to stop by the hospital at 5515 Peach St., now until 3 p.m. today, May 22, for a picnic and tours of the new Emergency Department.

The picnic-style lunch takes place near the ambulance entrance and includes hot dogs, hamburgers, sides, chips and drinks. Attendees are welcome to eat on site or take the meal to go!
