Jacqueline specializes in custom tattoos within a private and professional studio atmosphere. She sees everyone on an appointment basis and most of the time she is booked 4-6 weeks in advance. So we appreciate your patience in this regard
Our shop minimum for tattoos is $200, which includes all aftercare and first touch up within a year. Please see our website for artist portfolios and start by emailing or calling our studio line for your free consultation.

They didn't just come in, shoot a few pictures for a job and leave, they made me feel important and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Photo Quality and Disbursement: Every proof was sorted through, polished, and final copies emailed to me in a zip folder for my use: Clear, crisp, and thorough. Photo dynamics: black and white, wide angle lenses, soft edging, canted shots, close ups, multiple angles, as well as traditional. No hidden charges or upcharges for things - if Mike thinks it will look nice or needs to make adjustments, he will, because it's art! Now, what was really amazing, was the special photo session with my brother. We found out that he was going to be shipped overseas the day before the wedding. On short notice, Mike let me come in with my dress on and my brother in his uniform to get photos before he left. He made us laugh and have some fun! Additionally, I did a different photo shoot with Mike over the summer. I was on my motorcycle and we got some really great shots - various angles, poses. It was outdoors, but he still had equipment to adjust and direct light as if in a studio. Like my wedding, Jackie made sure I looked great and helped me to adjust my poses in between shots.

I would highly recommend Black Iris Studios to anyone interested in knowing about or getting a tattoo or in need of photography. I have gotten tattoos from both Eddie and Jacqueline. Two from Jacqueline and I truely enjoy chatting with her during the process. Michael does the photography and from all I've seen (weddings, models, landscape, etc) I have been truely impressed.

First of all I have several tattoos from many different artists none of which are local. I had heard of and seen such great work from Jacqueline. So I called and spoke with Eddie and corresponded with Jacqueline for a few months before she moved back to Michigan. Eddie and Jacqueline are such great artists and even better great individuals. Their knowledge of their industry made me feel super at ease and the time they take to explain the tattoo is awesome. I have now one small piece and an upper sleeve by Jacqueline. Love the shop and I am super happy with my whole local tattoo experience. These girls rock!

I have been a loyal customer of Black Iris studio since they have opened their shop in Escanaba. From the first day I spoke with them I knew it was an immediete connection. Great atmosphere, amazing people who work here and have more knowledge in their industries than I have seen in years.
