Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties Local public health department serving Michigan's Delta and Menominee Counties.

The purpose of the site is to serve as a mechanism for communication between Public Health, Delta & Menominee Counties (PHDM) and members of the public. PHDM reserves the right to remove content based on the criteria listed below:

Today is World Sickle Cell Day. Sickle Cell Disease (SDC) is a group of inherited blood disorders affecting red blood cells and hemoglobin. Sickle cell disease is a qualifying diagnosis covered by Michigan Children's Special Health Care Services (CSHCS). If you or a family you know is impacted by sickle cell disease, talk with the child's specialist about whether they may be eligible for CSHCS.
