One of the things I think about most as we prepare to welcome another baby is postpartum.
We’ve walked through some really hard seasons before. The kind that teach you just how important it is to have people around you who will show up, stay present, and carry part of the load when you can’t carry it all yourself.
And every time I reflect on those seasons, I’m reminded of something incredible:
So many moms continue showing up for their children while carrying burdens no one else can see.
The moms navigating baby blues. The moms facing postpartum depression. The moms working through anxiety, overwhelm, exhaustion, and the countless challenges that can come after birth.
They still get up.
They still comfort.
They still love.
They still keep going.
Not because it’s easy, but because that’s how deep a mother’s love runs.
If you’re in that season right now, my heart goes out to you. No family should have to walk through it alone. This is why postpartum support matters. This is why community matters. This is why we have to build strong families and strong support systems long before the baby arrives.
And to the moms who worry they’re not doing enough, your children are often receiving far more love, safety, and connection than your guilt would ever have you believe.
The work you do matters.
The sacrifices you make matter.
And the strength it takes to keep showing up, even on the hardest days, does not go unnoticed.
Love and appreciate you all ⚡❤🔥
