Finally! Many of you have been asking when I would be offering another Grief Recovery workshop.

Our new program begins February 11, 2025 at 6:30 pm in Escondido.

You don't want to miss this opportunity to heal your heart and mind. Sooner or later grief finds every one of us. Most of us don't recognize it for what it is.

This educational program is truly life changing to some degree for everyone that passes through it.

Most people think grief only accompanies death. Actually, there are over 40 different types of loss in life such as, death, divorce, moving, loss of job, retiring, becoming an empty nester, loss of health, this list goes on....

I promise you will benefit from completing this program. There is a workbook and some weekly homework. It's not difficult and there are no right/wrong answers. It's unique to each individual.

It is not a grief support system that supports grief! We move beyond grief into healing with new tools you didn't know you needed.

For those of you concerned about working with someone you know too closely and baring your personal thoughts and emotions, that is not how this works. You will not be working 1:1 with me. And everything remains confidential in this program.

2025 is starting out with this new program and being offered for the lowest price ever. Only $60 for the 7 week program and that includes the workbook and materials.

Feel free to message me with any questions you may have. I hope to hear from you! And, please, tell your friends and family about this. Everyone needs it!

P.S. - If any of my past students would like to provide a testimony from their experience, I would really appreciate it. If you want it to be anonymous I can manage that, too.

Time doesn’t heal—actions do. The myth that time heals a broken heart is just that, a myth. Time can’t heal a broken heart any more than air can jump into a flat tire. Time just goes by. It’s the actions you take within time that can help you feel better.
The Grief Recovery Method is the only evidence based Grief Recovery program in the world. DM me to learn more.

I used to think being strong was the solution until it no longer worked for me.

I used to think being strong was the solution until it no longer worked for me.

Have you ever been told to be strong for your spouse, kids, parents, students or anyone else in the face of tragedy?

It sure sounds like a useful piece of advice, but is it?

We sure don’t think so. In fact, it’s one of the six major myths about recovering from heartache.

So what’s wrong with being strong?

Being strong means that you have to hide your feelings.

✨Hiding your feelings stops you from taking actions that lead to recovery.
✨Hiding your feelings implies that there’s something wrong with your feelings.
✨Hiding your feelings means lying to yourself about your heartache.
✨Hiding your feelings means you’re not being truthful with other people either.
Telling the truth about how you feel sends a powerful message to the people around you, including your kids. It tells others that it’s okay to express normal human emotions, the happy and the sad. You can’t recover from loss unless you’re honest. It’s as simple as that.
So what do you say? What if we start telling the truth about ourselves when our hearts are broken? There’s actually a lot of strength in that.
Like we always say, “You can be strong or you can be human. Pick one.”

Grief is so misunderstood. Please read this and if you have questions or want more information please call, email or text me. There’s no need to suffer any longer. ~ Priscilla

Have you ever heard that it takes half the time you were with someone to get over them? Or that it takes a certain amount of time to grieve the death of a loved one?

Sadly, these mainstream ideas give people a false sense of what it takes to heal their heart. As if time on its own magically has the power to help. Sure, time may lessen the intensity of emotional pain, but it does not heal.

Need proof? Do you know someone that is still heartbroken from a death or breakup that happened over five, ten or twenty years ago? I bet you do.

What about you? Are you still carrying baggage from something that happened during childhood?

If time healed, wouldn’t five or ten years be long enough?

People often ask us when they should start using The Grief Recovery Method. The answer is different for everybody depending on the loss you’ve experienced and when you have the willingness to do it.

The key, however, is to not wait many years to say goodbye to pain and unfinished emotions. That doesn’t help you, It doesn’t help the people around you and it doesn’t honor the memory of who died.

Waiting for years is too much time to sit in devastating pain and feelings. Plus, over time we all experience more losses and pain which means, if you don’t do the work you could end up with a whole backpack full of unresolved “issues”.

⚡️ Make today the day you decide to heal.

🌟 Make today the day that you get started with The Grief Recovery Method.

We will give you the tools to work on what is still painful and holding you back and gently guide you to say goodbye to that pain. All you have to do is show up and have a little bit of willingness.

🔥 You know what’s more painful than taking an honest look at your pain? Allowing your emotional pain to become your new normal.

People often have great intentions when they try to fix us. Listen more. Fix less.

People often have great intentions when they try to fix us. Listen more. Fix less.

Grieving people aren’t broken, so they don’t need to be fixed. They need to be listened to with dignity, respect and love 💙

The founder of The Grief Recovery Method died last week after a very brief cancer diagnosis. The program he created over 40 years ago is like none other in the world. I am so glad I went through the program myself and was trained and certified to help others.

I’ll forever be thankful for this man and his great work. It changed my life 6 years ago. I plan to continue working with grievers (people with a beating heart) and spreading this information for as long as I can.
