Today, we join the oncology and palliative care community in recognizing Frank D. Ferris, MD, FAAHPM, FAACE, FASCO, recipient of the Walther Cancer Foundation Supportive Oncology Award, presented during the ASCO Annual Meeting.

This honor reflects Dr. Ferris’ enduring leadership in palliative and supportive oncology and his lifelong commitment to reducing suffering and improving quality of life for patients and families facing cancer.

We are grateful for his contributions to the field and for the example he continues to set for compassionate, patient-centered care.

Children process loss differently and often, they need safe and supportive ways to express emotions that are difficult to put into words.

This summer, The Elizabeth Hospice is offering a free six-week creative arts grief support group for children in the community who are experiencing the loss of a parent, sibling, or other significant person.

Through art, connection, and guided activities, children can explore feelings, build healthy coping skills, and find comfort alongside peers who understand.

🎨 Materials provided. No artistic experience needed.

We hold space for remembrance, gratitude, and the families who carry their legacy forward.
