As we approach the final session of Moving Mindfully Through Grief, we reflect on the quiet strength that comes from simply showing up - for yourself and alongside others.

If you’ve been considering joining, there is still an opportunity to be part of this supportive space. Through breath, movement, and shared presence, even a single session can offer moments of grounding and care.

πŸ“ Final session: June 25
πŸ•™ 10:00 – 11:30 AM | Del Mar
πŸ’² $10 per session

Sometimes comfort arrives with four paws, a wagging tail, or a gentle purr.

The Elizabeth Hospice Pet Therapy Program brings companionship, connection, and moments of joy to patients and families through the unconditional love of therapy animals.

We're also seeking compassionate volunteers and certified therapy pets to help provide meaningful visits, support patients in staying connected with their beloved pets, and make a difference in the lives of others.

Many of our volunteers say they receive just as much as they give.

Today, we recognize National Flag Day and the enduring values represented by the American flag.

For generations, the flag has served as a symbol of service, sacrifice, unity, and hope. We honor all those who have helped uphold these ideals and the communities that continue to come together in support of one another. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Thank you to the San Diego County Employees' Charitable Organization for awarding us a 2026 Community Grant! Their support will provide Camp Spero with a new portable wireless PA system, helping campers and staff stay connected during activities and ensuring important messages reach everyone clearly.

For grieving children, feeling safe enough to share difficult emotions - and knowing they are truly heard - can make a meaningful difference in their healing journey. This equipment will help us foster an environment where every child feels supported, valued, and empowered to participate.

To learn more about Camp Spero and our other free grief support services for children and teens, contact The Elizabeth Hospice at [email protected] or call 760.223.7337.
