Father God,
I come before You with confidence not confidence in myself, not confidence in a sale, not confidence in people, but complete confidence in YOU.
You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. You are the God who sees the end from the beginning. You opened the door for Peoples Beauty Supply, You sustained us through every season, and now we believe we have heard Your instruction clearly, this season is complete. Do not renew the lease.
So, Father, we are obeying.
And because You have called us to close this chapter, I am asking You to help us finish it completely, responsibly, and well.
Your Word says, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
So today, Father, I am asking. I am seeking. And I am knocking.
I am asking You to send the people.
Send the customers.
Send the hairstylists.
Send the braiders.
Send the salon owners.
Send the entrepreneurs.
Send the families.
Send the bulk buyers.
Send the person who needs the fixtures.
Send the person who needs the vending machine.
Send the people who need exactly what is sitting on these shelves.
Father, we need EVERYTHING SOLD.
Every wig.
Every bundle and extension.
Every package of braiding and crochet hair.
Every bottle of shampoo, conditioner, oil, gel, edge control, and hair-care product.
Every piece of makeup.
Every press-on nail.
Every piece of jewelry.
Every barrette and accessory.
Every fixture, shelf, rack, display, piece of equipment, and the vending machine.
Everything, Lord.
You know where every item needs to go. You already know the people who need what we have. So I ask You to order their steps and ours.
Give us wisdom about pricing. Give us wisdom about bulk sales. Give us wisdom about what to accept and what to decline. Give us creativity in marketing and favor with everyone who sees our advertisements.
Father, multiply our reach beyond what algorithms, social media, signs, flyers, and human effort could ever accomplish.
We will work. We will advertise. We will show up. We will steward what You have given us. But we recognize that the increase belongs to You.
Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 3:6, “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.”
God, give the increase.
Let Saturdays be fruitful.
Let people walk through the doors unexpectedly.
Let customers tell other customers.
Let businesses hear about the liquidation.
Let bulk buyers come.
Let the right opportunities find us.
And Father, protect our hearts from anxiety while we wait.
When I look at everything that still needs to sell, remind me that inventory is not bigger than You. A deadline is not bigger than You. A lease is not bigger than You.
You are God.
I refuse to allow what I see today to determine what I believe You can do tomorrow.
You have brought us through too many seasons for me to doubt You in this one.
And Lord, I don’t only ask that we empty a building. I ask that we finish strong.
Let us leave this place with integrity.
Let every financial obligation be handled.
Let every relationship be honored.
Let every customer feel appreciated.
Let every person who walks through these doors encounter kindness, generosity, and the love of Jesus.
And before the final key is turned and the door closes for the last time, let us be able to stand inside that building, look around, and say:
“Look what the Lord has done.”
Not because we manipulated it.
Not because we forced it.
Not because we panicked.
But because we prayed, we obeyed, we worked, and GOD provided.
Father, I surrender the outcome while remaining expectant for Your provision.
We heard You say go, so we are going.
We heard You say this season is finished, so we will not hold onto something You are telling us to release.
Now give us the grace, provision, favor, strength, and supernatural help to finish what You told us to finish.
I believe You can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
So I’m asking BIG.
EMPTY THE STORE, LORD.
Not recklessly.
Not desperately.
But strategically, faithfully, completely, and in a way that leaves no question:
GOD DID THAT.
May the closing of this door become confirmation that You are already standing at the entrance of the next one.
We trust You.
We believe You.
We will obey You.
We will ask.
We will seek.
We will knock.
And we will keep our eyes on Jesus while You do what only You can do.
