I currently have two mamas and their babies. We have a beautiful, safe pen set up for everyone. Except one Mama has decided she would much rather pick up her kittens one by one and move them back into her nesting box.
So now, in addition to everything else on my list…

DON’T LOSE THE KITTENS.

Because nothing says this stage of motherhood like your human children leaving the nest and you immediately becoming emotionally responsible for several tiny creatures.

Empty nest? Apparently, I misunderstood the assignment.

Every version of me taught the next version something. So no, I don't want to erase my past. I want to honor the woman who lived it.Especially as I enter a new chapter of my journey next month, I'm realizing that becoming isn't about leaving our old selves behind.It's about bringing their wisdom with us, and finally trusting ourselves enough to decide who we want to be nextMy past isn't ammunition. It doesn’t define me as I am not that person any longer. It's evidence that I became.
