And even if something is off in your lab work…

the priority will still be lifestyle changes.

Labs can tell us where to focus.
They can help identify areas that may benefit from targeted supplementation.
They can point us toward a medical provider when additional support is needed.

But they don’t replace the habits required to improve your health.

Because whether we’re talking about hormones, gut health, thyroid health, inflammation, blood sugar, or metabolism…

The foundation is still the same:

Lifestyle changes.
Consistent habits.
Daily choices repeated over time.

The labs may explain why you’re struggling.

They don’t eliminate the work required to create lasting change.

Inspired by a popular side dish my family enjoys at summer grill-outs—Italian pasta salad—but built to be a complete meal with more protein and produce.

This version included:

• 60g mini cucumber
• 41g petite carrots
• 62g grape tomatoes
• 86.5g cooked Barilla Protein+ pasta
• 128g grilled chicken
• 30g black olives
• 32g Olive Garden Light Italian dressing

Macros: 34g carbs | 13g fat | 45g protein

One of my favorite things about meals like this is how easy they are to customize.

Need more carbs? Add more pasta.
Need more protein? Increase the chicken.
Need more fats? Add extra olives, avocado, cheese, or dressing.

The recipe itself isn’t the point—the concept is.

Build meals around a protein source, fresh produce, a carbohydrate source, and a fat source—then adjust portions to fit your goals, preferences, and lifestyle.

This meal can be prepped ahead, packed in a cooler, and eaten cold—making it a great option for ball games, road trips, busy workdays, or any season of life where convenience matters.

Staying consistent becomes a lot easier when healthy meals fit into your life instead of requiring your life to revolve around them.

That moment where you’re grasping at straws wondering how you’ve gotten to this point. The days sometimes felt long… but somehow the years moved fast anyway.

And please—don’t say “just wait until she graduates.”
I’m still trying to process that she’s already done with elementary school. 🥹

5th grade graduation…
Award: Mrs. Competitive 👸🏻

This one actually suits our girl so well.

Love it or hate it—if something becomes a game, she’s playing to win.

If I’m being honest, there was a season where I tried to soften some of that. Not because I wanted her to want it less—but because I worried her intensity would be misunderstood. I’d remind her that it was “just for fun”… but she’s never really been someone who does things just to have fun. 😅 She wants to compete. She wants to improve. She wants to understand how to get better.

Over the years I’ve started seeing it differently.

She doesn’t want things handed to her—she wants to earn opportunities.

Does that mean she’s still learning sportsmanship, perspective, and how to handle disappointment? Of course. Aren’t we all?

But I no longer see her drive as something to shrink. I see a girl with passion, grit, and a willingness to keep showing up.

My job isn’t to make her smaller so she’s easier for everyone else to handle. It’s to help her learn how to carry that fire well. 🫶🏻

So many of you are hoping your labs finally show something… because then maybe you’d have an answer for why you feel so bad, why your energy is gone, or why you can’t seem to stick to a plan.

And I get it.

There’s comfort in believing there’s one thing to point at.

And to be clear—
I absolutely believe in the power of labs.

Labs can validate symptoms.
They can give direction.
They can uncover things that need medical support.

But labs are information… not the finish line.

Because how do we course correct poor labs?

Sometimes medications.
Sometimes targeted supplementation to fill nutritional gaps.

But eventually?

We almost always come back to habits.

Stress management.
Adequate nourishment.
Hydration.
Movement.
Resistance training.
Sleep.
Consistency.

You’re stressed but doing nothing to counter it.

You’re under eating, skipping meals, and wondering why your energy is low.

You sleep 5–6 hours and wonder why you’re constantly fatigued.

You move 3,000 steps a day and expect your body to feel energized.

You work out… but not consistently.

And then we ask:
“Could it be my hormones?”
“Could it be my labs?”

Sometimes, yes.

But your body can only do so much if your daily habits are working against it.

This is me saying this with love—

Stop giving all your power away.

Use labs as data.
Use diagnosis as information.
But build habits that support healing.

Because no supplement will outperform what you repeatedly do each day.

This isn’t about perfection—it’s about ownership.

And maybe this needs to be said in an online world full of endless information, opinions, and the hope that someone else’s answer will finally be the thing that changes everything.

I choose to be honest. 🫶🏻

You’re holding everything together.

Work.
Practices.
Laundry.
Dinner.
Everyone else’s schedule.

But somewhere in all of that… you stopped feeling like YOU.

Your clothes don’t fit the way they used to.
You catch yourself avoiding photos.
You eat kids’ leftovers because it’s easier than making your own meal.
You know something feels off in your body… but you don’t know where to start.

And no—I don’t think the answer is another challenge, cutting more food, or spending more time in the gym.

That’s why I take an internal approach.

Through comprehensive lab work, realistic nutrition, and workouts that fit YOUR season of life, we stop guessing and start understanding what your body actually needs.

And yes… that still includes dinners out, ice cream with your kids, and living your life.

I’m opening 5 spots.
