Yesterday was one of those calls that reminds us just how important teamwork, communication, and supporting one another truly are. ❤️

A huge thank you to Pafford EMS, especially Stephanie, NRP, and her partner, for the incredible care and teamwork.

Thank you to the police and every firefighter that answered the call and assisted.

Thank you to everyone at McAlester Regional Health Center ER — Dr. McAlester, Dr. Simms, Evan, RN, Shelby, RN, and every member of the staff who stepped in and helped. Your professionalism and dedication did not go unnoticed.

Thank you to our McAlester Regional AirCare One crew, Megan and Brandon, for coming up and helping us when we needed the extra hands and support.

And thank you to the Saint Francis Health System Trauma Team for being ready and waiting on the other end.

Calls like this can be stressful, chaotic, and emotionally heavy. Every single person involved yesterday did an amazing job, and I am incredibly grateful for the teamwork shown from the scene all the way through definitive care.

Please remember to take care of yourselves, too. Sometimes these calls stay with us after the radios go quiet. If you feel like you need to talk to someone, please do. And if anyone involved would like to debrief, you are always welcome to DM our page and we will gladly debrief with you.
